I often cook my rice in coconut milk to give it a bit of sweetness. Makes it go extra great with pineapple and chicken honestly!
I’m not surprised that they liked the ranch one, because my mom makes a dish called crack chicken sometimes that is basically powdered ranch, various cheeses, and shredded chicken served over rice. It’s so good!!

I like to cook mine in chicken broth, butter, and seasonings. That way when it cooks down it's already full of flavor and cooked through it.
