Shane's voice is the glue and matrix holding this band together! You hear it smoothen out, always, the rough edges, of Mark's rasp, high pitch: mellowing down the harshness of it. Notice the way it augments Nicky's shaky tenor, while it complements Kian's shy, but very big alto voice! Shane's gifted! And oh! They're all so very handsome!
Late 2024, anyone? Sadly, I'm here after the tragic passing of Liam Payne. This reminds me of how much we should appreciate our childhood boybands and idols while we can. Liam's death affected me more than I would ever imagine as I didn't know him personally. Westlife was my first boyband, and One Direction was my last and favorite! Rest in peace, Liam Payne.
