I am so sad about Hallie's knee again. I hope she feels better really soon. It was so fun watching the kids on the hoping toy.

I was a Fitness Trainer for years. Strengthen with exercise - but also taking breaks may help - a growing body complicates things. Knee problems have been an issue as women participate in high end sports. Women in the 50s where not allowed to do sports - so younger generations will get stronger as they do more high end events. I saw this in my career. Your kids are great athletes. Remember take breaks from time to time, going from sport to sport can be hard on a body.Take care.

Sending prayers for Hallie! My daughter is Hallie’s age and she fell last month and heard a pop and her knee swelled. She chipped a small piece of her knee cap. She’s been in a brace and has a follow up appointment Tuesday. I’m hoping it’s healed and she’s cleared. Hope you all have a great summer!

@@ScottLundy-jd8qt she has about a week left in the brace and then she is free of it. The bone started to grow back so as a precaution Dr wanted her to wear the brace a little longer.
I’m sorry that your daughter went through that, hopefully she heals up asap. I dislocated my petella/kneecap twice and the first time I did it last year it wasn’t a big deal but on the second time just early this year it happened again and I had to get an x ray, an MRI and surgery for it.

My last day of school was 1 day ago and I was also sad! I didn’t want to leave school because of My Favorite teacher and my other teachers for rotations! And I didn’t want to leave my Best friend in my class! But then the next day I’m like this😁😊👍🏾 That’s funny and crazy! On the last day of school I’m sad because I don’t want to leave but then the next day it’s like this😊 So Funny😂 But I think I’m also still happy because I have my teacher’s phone number, I got it from my mom! So I can text nice things to my teacher. My Grade that I was in this year was 5TH Grade, and now I’m going into 6TH! Love your school videos😊

Sry about your knee, I feel your pain. My knee has popped out twice ten years apart. My doc said if it happens again I’d be looking at surgery. So I’ve been wearing my brace religiously since the last time my knee popped out. Cause id rather wear a brace right now then surgery. Hope it feels better soon 😊

Oh my goodness they grow up so fast!! As a gymnast I am not sure about in dance but I recommend for Livvy that she should try to keep her arms strait and lock out her elbows for the backhandspring!! Hope this helps her!

Aww poor Hallie. As someone who injured my knee from falling really hard, in snow I can completely relate. I find that heat helps more than anything. But I really hope you get better soon.
Congratulations to Stella that finished Kindergarten, Livy that is finished with 3rd grade, Hallie that is finished with 6th grade, and Ty that is done with middle school. Can’t believe he is going to be in Highschool.

I can’t believe Ty is going to high school! What?! I hope Hallie gets her knee better ugh 😣. I can’t wait to see what fun summer plans you guys have.
Hallie has the same issue as me! PT always told me to build up the strength and muscle in my quads so it would keep the knee cap in place. My knee felt better but i still have the same issue with my knee cap traveling lol. My mom used to get grossed out by it too same as Chelsea! I had the knee injury originally when I was 14, so i’ve grown since and it hasn’t gotten much better. It’ll be an off and on injury. It feels better, and I won’t have to wear a brace but it always comes back somehow. Sometimes when I do too much it starts to crack, and it is really bad pain I see where Hallie is coming from. It sucks because I have to take breaks from my sport because of the pain. I think the surgery would be a good investment, even though she is still growing. Praying for Hallie!!

Can't believe how much the kids have grown up since the first year y'all started UA-cam. I also have been battling a knee injury since July 2023 and I feel so so bad for Hallie. Hallie is such a tough girl and I know she will push through. I've been watching you guys since Hallie had pink eye 4 years ago. Prayers for Hallie and her knee.

Poor Hallie, I relate to her, but my knee injury was a fracture in my kneecap and tibal plateau fracture due to a fall 2 yrs ago on my hardwood steps my knee looked like hallie's due to swelling and healing fractures i walked on fractured kneecap and tibial plateau fracture for 2 yrs till i got treatment intensive 8 week physical therapy and anyi inflammatory

That's why you need to wear a brace. Even if it's just a sleeve brace. I doubt that she will need surgery. I tore my meniscus and completely fractured my tibula plateau all the way across and I didn't need surgery. I had physical therapy for a month before I got a MRI done and I just use icy hot and wear a sleeve brace. I was on crutches for probably three months. Get an MRI and see what the doctor says. I still wear my sleeve brace and my injury has been 7 months.

I was a competitive dancer also I just had to quit abt 4 months ago it was very hard for me but I also had knee dislocations a few times and it is very very painful and the first two times I injured my knee I was at dance practice but it got to the point to where the last time all I was doing was getting out of my bed and it popped out. I had surgery abt 3 months ago and I am doing much better I’m still on my recovery process but my surgeon said the surgery went very well and that everything is looking great I had a mpfl reconstruction and I’m not sure of the official name but basically what they did was move my tibia bone over bc it was out of line which was also causing my knee to dislocate . I’m not sure if I’m going back to dance but the surgery helped a lot .

Actually, you let her rub her eye with the paper after you put in the drops. My son had to have eye drops and the eye doctor told us not to let him rub his eye with anything right after we put the drops in. He said the worst thing you could do is rub the eye dry and the eye drops won't stay. So just a little tip, obviously you can do what you want, just trying to help. Love- Jessica
