Is the otp code generates by lock or by cloud server? Typically, the lock is offline and no way to send SMS.

@@JustDoElectronics could I modify the code to be otp but not send the code, for like a prize locker. Random code lucky person enters the correct one wins. Not that there will be a prize in what I’m planning, I just want to see if I can make a puzzle box and irritate my co workers.
