Cracker is one of my top five bands (for obvious reasons). Lowery is a gifted songwriter and lyricist. Hickman is an outstanding GTR player and musician. Love cracker. Gentleman's Blues is an underrated gem. True a few cuts could have been cut, but it's a damn good record. Star, James River, Been Around The World, Gentleman's Blues are some of crackers best... I wish Faragher stayed in the band. Hell of a bassist.
Lowery is easily of my top 10 lyricists, and has such a unique and amazing singing voice.

Well, in terms of "hits", CVB and Cracker have had about 4-5 hits (combined).The body of their work far outshines any of the hit singles, of course.
One hit wonder for non musicians, many many hit wonder for musicians.
