I am starting my Christmas 2021 decorate with me series today with 5 easy ways to put ribbon on your Christmas tree, and how to make it look like a designer did it. I know it's still early, but I wanted to go ahead and get this video out, to give you some time to grab inspiration and new ideas for your Christmas tree decorating this year ✨ Also, this tutorial will be the baseline for other Christmas videos that I'll be posting in the future. Wow I love ALL your styles, I only wish i had saw them before I decorated my tree bc I wanted to add ribbon but I didn't know how 😔, next yr... it's on 😊! Who knows... I may jus add a smaller tree with ribbon & stick it in a corner jus for the fun of it... thnx!

I got the plaid ribbon you're using at 11:20. It was a little hard to work with, but followed your instructions and it looks perfect now! I combined it with gold and red accents for a classic look. Ty for the tips 😁💖

Love your creative style I definitely like the black-and-white but if I had to choose I would go with the gold because that’s the color I’m using this year
I love the look of ribbon on a Christmas tree because it's such a pretty and simple way to decorate. But I also love putting ornaments on my tree and I wouldn't be able to do both. One day I will have two trees so I can do both but not this year sadly

I really liked all the styles but if I have to pick, two techniques stand out to me; love the criss-cross & the one-sided style# The one -sided style is very different & I've never seen it before. I've always just "winged it." Now you showed the right ways. I will follow your video, if I don't put garland on it# Lots of work for you, get some rest!!! 🎄🇨🇽🎅
Hi Donna! The one sided and crisscross are also my favorites! The one sided was an idea I thought about, if I ever had to decorate a candy cane, elf or even grinch Christmas tree. I see it as a very playful and fun look, but honestly it can work with any other style. The one difference would be the size of the loops, I would do them smaller for a more elegant traditional look. Hi Diane! I would use ornament hooks and twist them so that they can attach the ribbon to the Christmas tree. Hobby Lobby has ornament hooks that are malleable and would work fine.

Last year was the first time I ever used ribbon on My Christmas Tree. I did it in a diagonal pattern

I don’t understand why decorators don’t stand back and take a picture of the whole completed tree. Not just close-ups of the work you’re doing.
