I eat a lot of chicken, so I was excited to see so many different soups with chicken. I will definitely be making some of these. I make a big pot of soup and then freeze half so that I always have quick dinners when needed, throw it with some salad and a crusty bread and it is dinner loaded with not only veggies but comfort.

Ooh, lots of new to me soups to try. Thanks for sharing. I'm thinking on that last one to crack an egg or two into it right at the end and quickly whip it in with a fork and just cook a couple minutes longer and that would be another variation that would be good.

I had one one time that blew up to it didn't have the transfer locks I don't think it had a small hole if it did it was blocked with food I put cabbage carrots and ham in it evedenntly the grease from the ham sealed it and I had it on low I went upstairs to take a nap thinking I would have supper later when it was done well I woke up to a big bang sounded like a gun shot I ran down stairs to find no cover at all it even broke the glass mob there was nothing left but very small pieces of glass nothing left of the cover.i said thank God my head wasn't around that thing when it blew it was an oval crockpot if I remember I would put the ham in the bottom not in the top.
