I have been playing for around 28 years now and here is the advice I can give to help your game out. 1 - Just play rounds with your throwing putters. This will help your angles, approaches, and show you that you can do slower speed discs with controlled shots. 2 - Do good form slow. Slow is good form. Good form is far and accurate. 3 - Buzzz, Buzzz, Buzzz. Just play a round with your favorite stable mid. This is after #1 of course. This will also help get you those 300ft+ mid range shots. Putting advice - The way I putt is I never let my wrist go past straight. By this I mean point at the basket with your wrist flat to the right (for RHBH). Don't let your wrist go past this point. That's when you start missing left and right. Hitting basket and Band is PERFECTLY FINE. Just don't miss left and right. Hitting basket = You need a little more juice on the putt. Hitting band = Less juice. Putting practice for me is sitting on the couch with my elbow on the arm rest and flicking the disc up towards the ceiling, trying to hit the ceiling. You will see the form get better. Keep up with the videos! I really enjoy them!
Love this content! Just stumbled across your channel after it got recommended to me by UA-cam. Love the snap in your throw, super impressive. I also love disc golf & seeing this video inspired me to try to play this week. Routing for that elusive 900 rating for you!!
I can definitely relate. I've been playing almost 3 years and like you I feel as if I'm not only plateauing but going backwards. Plenty of zing and confidence when practice putting but during play they turn into fluttering butterflies just hoping to find the basket. I found a little extra distance a few months ago but now I'm back where I was and maybe not even that. Throwing the elusive perfect shot is what makes this game great and I'll keep coming back even after my nastiest rounds!
I like to just try new things when i slump. Playing holes trying different discs, shot types and shapes than i normally would. I do that for a week or two then go back to scoring rounds. Sometimes you find something that sticks with you.
Just found your channel. Great stuff. I've definitely been in slumps then play a few good rounds and think Im getting good and the disc golf god crush my soul for a few rounds, lol. It would be great to get in a round next time in Greensboro/Winston Salem.

I will totally take full responsibility for that missed putt on #10. Good seeing you out there. Hope to play a round with you one day.

Practice versus the real thing is definitely an issue for me as well. Thanks for watching!
