Frontier JP shut down today. I'm going to miss it an awful lot. Thank you to everyone who's supported my Frontier videos, it's all MHW Iceborne from here on out. I hope I explained what the game offered, and how it worked, well enough for you.
In the meantime, enjoy the run. White Nargacuga was always an interested monster to me, so I thought it would be apt for a final hurrah.

Man I literally got my hands on this game hours before it was gone fought that giant rock crab monster with gunlance over and over cause it was such a cool fight. Sucks that people didn’t give this game the time of day, and a damn tragedy that it’s gone. Here’s hoping for the sequel, fingers crossed.

What I wouldn’t give now to have had mhfrontier 2 instead of iceborne.
(Also for the love of god if someone can get me into the #hope-for-frontier discord I would be forever grateful, don’t want to bother anyone just see the progress on them bringing back this beautiful game)

@@blackjack6427 rise looks great for gunlance and hunting horn, everything seems the same pretty much except bow, bow looks like it got some interesting changes, and if it was good in frontier I got no idea, it was fun, cool, and most importantly way more mobile.

Its a shame frontier shut down. I always wanted to try it but never got around to it for a few reasons those being The complicated means of getting in and the ridiculous amount of content built up over the years.
I do hope some of frontier can make its way into the main series (monster hunter 6/ world 2). Now that the servers are down it opens the gates for some of its content to make its way into the main games since there wont exactly be any other way to experience it now that its pretty much gone.
Nah most westerns despise that game those “most” people shouldnt play frontier.

Man, the only positive thing that came from never having the chance to play this game is that its loss stings just a little less. Perhaps we may see some Frontier aspects make a comeback in later titles.
For all people who want to play Frontier, you now can use kind of stable private servers. Fulfill your dreams.

Frontier is JP exclusive so, anything from there won't be coming to the mainline games or MHWI. Sure you already know tho
@@Zweilvish since frontier shut down their player base won't get as angry as they did back during Hypnocatrice and Lavasioth. The chances of something from frontier returning in the main series have risen exponentially.

King of flames wait people actually got upset that some monsters got put in the main games? Thats kinda fucked up, i mean monster hunter is starting to become more popular in the west in recent years but to think some Japanese fans want certain things to themselves. Honestly While I don’t have high hopes of the magnet spikes getting into a monster hunter 6/ world two, I feel like maybe the tonfas might have a chance since thats the most recognizable frontier exclusive weapon.

So Frontier's HBG have compression shot mechanic, but for LBG what's called? A rapid-fire minigame where player timing the perfect shot? Does it increase damage? First time using LBG on Frontier though lol

Well..... This game is... Something.. I'm kinda happy it got cancelled.. now we can focus on the cannon main games... Can't wait for MHR

I really want to play this game, or wanted to since it closed down, but seeing the reactions of people against the Alatreon, which is a perfectly fine monster imo, makes me understand why it never released in the west.
Arukado MMOs typically don’t do so well currently also, but I agree, it was a shame how a lot of the western audience didn’t give it the time of day
