Without a doubt S1mple is one of the greatest AWPers in CS history, especially in the category of "aggressive AWPers." We take a look back at the some of the best aggressive AWPers (Pasha, JW, KennyS, FalleN) who have pushed the meta forward, shaping the game that S1mple now dominates.

he has been a prominent rifle for most of his career. he became the main awper only after guardian left faze.. but s1mple can do anything at this game anyway..

3:30 "kennyS and jw's flicks weren't reliant on scoped movement" what do you mean? weren't jw and kennys like most hit by the awp nerf? (kennyS especially) Awp nerf hurt almost every awper besides guardian (he has stated that it didn't really change anything).
Also, I think kennyS and jw were more aggressive and better pre awp nerf than post so I don't really see a point in saying that they were the next aggressive awpers after the post nerf. I would have said more like "KennyS and Jw took pasha's role as the best awpers before the nerf and continued to dominate even after" or something like that. You can't really think it like: pasha is the best awper-->awp nerf-->kennyS and Jw are the best awpers now. That's just not correct.
Markus Martikainen I think that was the part they got wrong and I was like “that’s not true” even though both Kenny and JW did win majors with their respective teams during the post awp nerf era but the narrator got that part wrong
KennyS himself said that he thought he was to blame for the nerf in the first place.

Brown McJuggerNuggets what?? its s1mple. he has a french accent, he lives in france, speaks french as his 1st language in a country where EVERYONE is able to converse in french. therefore you go by french pronounciation, in his streams he usually says his own name. you can also hear how the name is properly pronounced if you watch his streams. the only time you hear the other pronunciation is when they say it in jest.
The legendary agressive awper was Markeloff.

Markeloff is most known for his defensive style of awping. What are you even saying
dude, have you ever played 1.6? you shouldn't say anything if you've never played that game. Markeloff was one of the best awpers back then. Now he sucks and doesn't even play with it. But back in the 1.6 times the AWP was so good and balanced at the same time. It was possible to fast zoom and do all these flicks just like in CoD. However, using AWP didn't make you a hero-of-the-match because other weapons were able to outshoot AWP easily. With that being said, I can truly say that markeloff was one of the best snipers of 1.6. There were a lot of sick awpers who had alike style. I'm talking about Sunde, Aslak and many others.

Its sad that kenny's awping is reliable to his feelings, when he is feeling it, you can't stop him and when he isn't, it feels like he is missing every easy shot
Remember kenny brought back quickscoping into csgo so definitely kenny has more impact on how the awp is played other than any other awper
It was his prime in that Meta. Look at him now in this newly meta Dev1ce surpasses his style.

Anyone remember when Maikelele stepped up into the light in 2015 when he joined nip? I genuinley believe he had the most aggressive (or atleast at the time) awp style id ever seen, even inspired me to be an awper.

I am sorry but you've got the timeline all wrong from even the beginning, man.... Kenny and JW didn't come along after the AWP nerf. In fact; they were both in their primes before the AWP nerf came along and arguably took the biggest hit when it did come.

Am I the only one thinking that Skadoodle is an era himself. I know he may not be on the same level as the old Kenny,Jw or today's Guardian and Simple but he has a unique style for both sites. His ct style is holding different positions and changing them all the time while constantly re-peaking without pushing and using nades and movement mechanics for information. When retaking instead of staying back like Simple did on train and covering but pushing while combining a lot of strafing and no-scope movement with quickscopes and no-scopes so that he pushes faster. His T style is really close to his ct retaking while having no fear to re-peak and push every angle and corner.

KennyS was the most dominant awper of all time. You will probably never see another awper that commands so much presence on a map. Teams would just avoid prime KennyS on Dust 2 mid just because he was just so damn good. s1mples awp style is very similar to when olofmeister was considered the best in the world but with a bit more pugginess.

Epic breakdown. I would argue that kennys was under-represented (albeit well covered by the rest of the csgo content world). And that the awp movement speed nerf affected all three of the initially mentioned players. But great video nonetheless
