I hate when people say this music is like the 80's or old school. Basically you're saying that standard heavy metal is an old thing and belongs to the old times.

The reason people say this is old-skool is not because they mean it belongs to the past. They say it because most bands these days play metal in the new ways. And Enforcer is one of the few bands that still play in the old way and that's what i and lots of other people like about them.
I don't like the term "Old Way". Heavy Metal never died as genre. Sure it may have been obscured by other subgenres like Thrash or Death in the past but it didn't actually died and Enforcer, and many others, are playing Heavy Metal not Old School Metal.
+Dream Obsession I see what you mean, and I agree that this style of straightforward heavy metal is timeless, but let's face it, this kind of stuff truly enjoyed its heyday in the late mid to late '80s. This video itself feeds into the idea of their music being a throwback to that era. Why else use the outdated video equipment to make it look like it was shot in 1985?
Enforcer is banking on us getting nostalgic from the music they play. There's nothing wrong with that. This is classic, traditional heavy metal. It's a tribute to the massive '80s metal movement, when everybody and their brother was in a band and put out at least one album. Enforcer would have been swallowed up like so many other bands back then, because had they played this in the mid '80s it would have been nothing special. TODAY, however, it's unique; it's kitchsy; it's retro, and it happens to be like comfort food for many fans' ears, mine included.

Holy shit people actually think this song sounds N.W.O.B.H.M. How the hell does this sound like Tank, Motorhead, Mad Dog, early Iron Maiden, Jaguar, Angel Witch, Venom, etc.? This stuff straight up plays in the style 83-85 Speed / Thrash from 83: Metallica (83), Helloween (85-86), Savage Grace, Agent Steel (85), Slayer (83), Exodus (85), Artillery (85), Anthrax (84), Metal Church (84), and the list goes on. It doesn't mean that Enforcer tries to copy these bands I listed but play this style because it was there early influences. I mean, Olof even said that's how they describe there fast paced songs as bordering to thrash metal and I see people calling others posers for stating actual facts that this stuff does resemble early Metallica.
