I’m in Charleston and it is not busy AT ALL. I have only been given one order. It was also Sherwin Williams, drop off was about 2 hours and 40 minutes away, made $243 from that order.

I did Dispatch in the Orlando area when it first came to the area years ago. The logo was orange, and white back then. I don't know if the pay has improved, back then if you used a sedan it wasn't worth doing. Most of the time the pay was terrible because of how miles it took to complete the delivery.
It definitely has worked better for me in the cargo van.

@@carsandcribs So I don't understand you drove 26 miles to do that first order and it took you roughly 1 hour to complete with picking it up driving and then unloading and delivering, then you had to drive 20+ miles back? I know that you did the one order and had another one, but if you only had that one order you would have had to drive 20+ miles back home. So 50 miles total for that one order for $42?

@@scoobadying Seems not that great. I drive way less miles than that and can make $30 in an hour with door dash. Idk i would have to look more into it. I've looked up other vids and I've seen multiple people saying that on avg they're making $700 a week just doing dispatchit working 8 hours per day 5 days a week. That is not that great to me. When you take out the gas and taxes and even wear and tear and wear you're looking at maybe making $500 a week net for you. That means you're making less than $15 an hour at the end of the day. That to me is terrible. If I'm not making $1k or more per week than to me that is a failure.

Dispatch is curbside delivery only. You are not allowed to take anything inside a house. Pay attention to the weight amounts too. You may have to do a weight adjustment if they say it is less than it really is.

@@carsandcribs hey bro heres another thing. be mindful of nails when doing this work, cause u know these construction guys sometimes don't secure their shit correctly and just throw it in the back of their trucks. that's a big reason we get nails in our tires. good general rule also is to drive away from the right lane. cause when it rains, the roads kinda curve down slightly so that the water collects to the side of the road. i learned this because i actually work in the rain and i got 4 nails in one year :p.

Man I downloaded dispatch it and can’t get a trip in gurnee/ Waukegan area to save my life. Got 1 offer in Chicago weeks ago and then nothing else you got any tips/ suggestions?
I've rarely gotten anything in the Gurnee area. I usually have to travel toward Deerfield or DesPlaines. The morning is when you would get the most offers.

Brother I hope u keep in mind all the taxes u will have to save for each app since your an independent contractor u will have to file and apply all jobs that u were paid through that’s one thing I’m making sure I keep track of when the time comes
I definitely keep that in mind. But also consider how many miles you drive and all of the other deductions you can write off.
Drivers need to realize keep up with your miles because IRS allows you 58.5 cents/mile in 2022. As an independent contractor you write off all your food bills, anything you buy for your business: clothes, shoes, vehicle repair or tires, monthly insurance, monthly phone, etc. By the time you add all that up you won't owe any taxes plus the tax bracket that Trump passed ($12,500), for an individual. You don't have to file if you don't make that much🤗

To be completely honest I go where ever the money is. When we had Spark we did that mostly because it is was the most profitable for us. We would also do Doordash, Ubereats and Insacart in between orders if we could. I also think you should DEFINITELY sign up for Deliverthat it’s super easy and the payouts are pretty good. The fact that they charge for driver record made me change my mind. Its not the 40 dollars it's the principal.. If they want to hire employees they need to cover that end. That's just how I feel. Thanks for the good informative video though.

Your not an employee. This is all 1099 work, your a contractor so it's not unreasonable that they require you bring your own credentials.

Yes, man....do it. It's so nice not having someone telling you what to do all day. Multi-app and you can make plenty of money and don't depend on one service. Just don't neglect the tax aspect - budget to save 1/3 of what you earn to pay them. Track your mileage and expenses. At the end of the year, figure out which one will give you the biggest tax write-off and use it. You'll get a good amount of your taxes back.

I'm retired and do Uber Door Dash and walk dogs. You can start and stop Uber any time or work all day. plus you can cash out daily. It's not bad.

just watched a channel, title said 2 months review for so and so gig app, and that man didn't show no work in the video lol.
did dispatchit for 3 months, and was deactivated for overcommitting and stacking loads. The customer can cancel if the order is not on time, so after being flagged a few times for late deliveries, I was removed from the platform. A week after I lost access to the app, my transmission started to malfunction because I transported loads that were too heavy for a compact car. I wouldn’t do it again though, 10k miles in 3 months plus needing a new transmission was a wake-up call.

People like you over saturating the schedule ruin it for little locals like me who need just 1 order of 100 to change their life. I can’t door dash because people never log off DD and take up time slots for the whole day. Being so greedy when we all want a job.

Agree I think Roadie is one of the better apps but he seems to have issues in his area getting the orders once available. I’m sure this varies by the area you live in.

In Orlando is the worst company to work for, I got an order with 9 stops, I own a cargo van and they pay me $85. I spent $30 in gas $15 in tolls and took me 5 hours to completed, is not worth it. BS company

I tried that app and it’s a NO for me didn’t pay much! The mileage was incorrect I had to request for more money at times it took me longer to get to destination when the app said it took less miles it just felt like it wasn’t worth it for little pay…

It took me awhile to get a decent order also. Hopefully they start rolling in soon. Another thing I found out was the bigger the vehicle the better.
