Hi Susan, Ok, I’ve been told to try adding the cherries but I haven’t heard about adding the mandarin oranges. I do love mandarin oranges and want to give them a try! Do you cut them up a little or leave them in the little slices? Thank you for the tip!

    • @susandaniel9473

You cut them up a little but you want them big enough to get the whole flavor.

In the last 30 minutes I have watched 6 videos called 'million dollar pie' and every one of them was a bit different. So, I guess any pie with pineapple and whipped topping and what ever fruit you like is 'million dollar pie'.

My cousin makes this delicious pie every year for Thanksgiving for as long as I could remember. It is awesome. And as I was having a slice I thought to myself youtube has everything, I wonder if they have this recipe. Great video.

This is the way I make my million dollar pies. It's the correct way, guaranteed. The cream cheese is what makes the tart flavor along with a teaspoon of lemon juice. I use a mixer it blends much better which allows it to set better.

Is the cream cheese what you added.... My grandmother used to make this and I don't remember that..... Also the recipe makes two pies right?

I love the recipe, I love your easy going demeanor, I love your voice, but mostly, I love how well you understand your little ones. I’m still laughing about you saying that you assure us that “their little hands were clean, at least I think they were”. That was a very real “Mom” moment. 😂

Why limit your self to pineapple, ripe mango would be a great flavor. Sweet grapes that have been peeled are great too. BE CREATIVE, GOD CREATED THIS BEAUTIFUL WORLD, SURELY WE ALL CAN BE CREATIVE LIKE THIS ADDITION OF CHEESE CAKE. USE REAL WHIP CREAM AND WHIP UP SOME EGG WHITES AND BAKE IT. EXPERIMENT. DONT BE STAGNANT
