Hi, amazing tutorial!! I have several of these unit and have the same following issue with them all. I connected from computer speaker out to Rec (in), in the back of RS TR777 but no signal is going through even when I press Rec button. Also when I record from another tape, the balance and rec level don't have any affect on the LED monitor level again. Can someone explain what am I doing wrong?
Hello, thank you! For dubbing (copy tape from deck 1 to deck 2) balance and volume are disabled, you can only use them when recording from an external source. Regarding recording from computer, make sure you take sound from line out (if a desktop) and that you actually select that particular output from Windows.
@@Fubar06 thanks, yes, that’s what I did. From computer speaker out to the IN port in the back this unit. I have three of them and I have the same issue with all the them
@@scarlettnatalian5012 I have separate outputs on my desktop so I'm using the one marked Line Out, not the one marked Headphones, but it probably is different on other computers.

@@MortezaParkook Not from computer speaker, from computer "Line out".
