We really needed our visit to the Camino Trust Resort with 'Auntie Paloma' and Henry. It was so lovely to see Bartemius enjoying himself and playing like a puppy, after all the dramas recently. What can we say about Teruel..?!? 😍💜🤟
Hi guys. Lovely video! We really enjoyed Bart having fun at the canine centre. What an awesome idea. You must not worry about what you can and can't do for videos over the next weeks. People follow your channel because it is interesting, but mainly because you are two lovely, genuine people and it is ok to feel low and take time out for yourselves. Whatever you put online over the next few weeks will be appreciated by your subscribers who follow you because you are you! ❤🤟x x
@@findingxanadulife That would be absolutely lovely, but aware you will have a lot of pressures on your time. See how things go for you whilst here, and if you do have some time spare then a nice bonus x x
@winterbiker333 Thank-you Chris. I was lucky to keep both parents into my 50's and at 94, dad had a full life. I'm sure I threw more than a few spanners in the works as a teenager, but I like to think that his life was mostly happy. We're taking each day as it comes. Much love Alison and Darren 😘 💜🤟
Thank-you Steven. We'll never give up, we love our lifestyle, as hard as it can be at times. Thanks for your support and bearing with us through the drama. Much love Alison and Darren 💜🤟
Hi guys, well no one can tell you what's right or wrong, you do what feels best for you under the circumstances, and I think you all staying together and travelling back makes perfect sense. Do things you enjoy to ease your minds in these difficult times, which this video showcased very well ❤ Doggy day care fun! How fabulous was that. Bart looked like he was living the dream right there, and looks pretty fun for adults too. Teruel was very ornate and pleasing on the eye. Much like an old door, a fancy old staircase stirs something wonderful in the heart and mind. Loved that story about Diego and Isabel, and especially that statue with the hands not quite touching. If anything sums up the hardships of human emotion and love, it's that! Oooh a live! We thought about that too, but not sure I'd be brave enough. But with a smalller intimate audience of sorts it could be nice as you get to answer most questions as they come in. I've seen a couple where people have thousands of subscribers and the chat screen zooms past, it looks overwhelming. Maybe something to do now before we both get to our million subscribers, right? 😁😉 Great idea anyway! Take care both, much love ❤🤟
Hey Dan and Stevie, We've been wanting to go to the doggo pool for years, but never got around to it until now. It's a shame, as Sebastian would have loved it, he was the water baby of the family, but it seemed fitting to do something that was all about Bart and his buddy Henry. The chiringuito did really reasonably priced, good food too. We all had a bocadillo (Bart had some of the chicken from mine) €24/25 for 3 full size bocadillos and 3 cans of drink. The only downside that we found was that the slides were strictly for doggos only, no humans. 🫤 It was great to lose ourselves in the fun of dog play for the day and Tia Paloma enjoyed her birthday. Teruel was another place that was not just pinned on our map, but favourited. The story of the lovers tugged at the heart strings (whichever slightly amended version you believe - was she wearing her wedding dress or mourning clothes...etc) and the sarcophagi were just so beautiful. Then virtually everywhere you look, you can find Mudéjar architecture. Blissful. We're terrified about the live, but we have been asked for it a few times, so we'll roll the dice and hope it isn't too much of a car crash.. 🤷🏼♀️🤣 Honestly, I don't think we would want 1 million subscribers. How do you maintain a good connection with people..? We have a base group of subscribers, who we interact with each week and their comments would potentially get lost among the masses. It's lovely that at the moment, we can get to know a little bit about the people on the other end of the videos, rather than them just being random names. Is that weird .?!? 🤪 Anywhoozle, thank-you so much for your love and support. It's very much appreciated. 😘🥰💜🤟
@findingxanadulife I just think it's so great those dog places exist, and so pleased Bart enjoyed himself, especially after recent events ❤️ Fully agree about the subscribers. On the one hand, the idea of the channel growing is great, but it would eventually get to a point where you can't interact with everyone. I try to give everyone a proper reply, and on "busy" weeks, this can take a long time. Which is okay, but like you say, eventually you'd lose track of who everyone is. Not something me and Stephen have to worry about for now though, and might not ever be 😂 You'll be grand at the live. Just be yourselves and you'll be fine 😁 Having questions ready to answer as you said in the video, might make it easier too for a first one ❤️ Take care both ❤️🤟

Gracias Ana. Eso es muy apreciado. Mucho amor Alison y Darren😘💜🤟
Teruel is the less populated capital in all of Spain, and usually "forgotten". So much so, that a few years back, a sociopolitical movement named "Teruel Existe", finally became so popular, they actually got a seat in the Spanish Parlament. It´s a surprisingly charming city for its size, main problem being the province has some of the harshest temperatures in winter in all of Spain, to the point they got a -21C record low. P.S. So sorry for your losses, I lost my mother when I was much younger than you.
So sorry of the passing of your dad Allison! In my prayers 🙏 I think it's great that you will continue with your travel plans after the UK and you might change routes many times due to weather or places you've discovered you want to see. I am living so far all of Spain where you've been. Just added Teruel! That museum was amazing and the church cathedral was absolutely incredible. We will go there. As of now we plan to make a scouting trip early next year to check out areas and properties. Try to figure out best place for us. As of now think plan A is Malaga area and not quite sure where plan B is yet. Learning about so many different climates even within the southern coast!! I will continue to follow all your adventures for sure. Did I understand correctly that you are planning on a you tube channel? Please let us know if you change anything or if it will continue to be same channel. I will nevertheless you in spirit. Safe travels always. Loved the dog resort what town was that in? Potries? Must take my little one there, such fun! Hoping all goes well in the UK. Looking forward to Zaragosa!!! Then, on to France 🇫🇷
@elainebramson7042 Thank-you so much for your condolences. The Canino Trust Resort doggo pool is in Ondara, not far from the N332 road, or a motorway junction, so it's well placed and we really enjoyed it. It was exactly what the doctor ordered. I think you will probably want to add next week's video location too. *Spoiler alert* We went to Albarracín, which isn't massive, but is utterly incredible. We got the timings wrong, so we didn't manage to go into the church, or the castle, but just the main village was everything that we loved. we needed several more hours than we had spare, as we would have loved to walk all along the defense walls too, but we were running on empty, emotionally and physically at that point. Zaragoza will be the video in 2 weeks time. 😉 Our travel plans do frequently change, for exactly those 2 reasons, but we're quite good at winging it. 😉 We're not planning another UA-cam channel, we are planning to do a 'Live stream' on this channel, provisionally December 4th at 5pm standard European time, 4pm UK time. We are asking if people would be interested, as it's been requested, but we haven't done a proper live stream before. It's a chance for you to ask us questions directly, or you can email/message them to us in advance, for us to answer on the day. 😬 It's a little terrifying for us. 🥴 We hope you will be able join us..! Much love and good luck working out where Plan B Will be. 😉💜🤟
@findingxanadulife I am positively certain you can wing it! No doubt. Thanks for location of doggy resort. We have a mini schnauzer we got at 6 weeks while living in Panama. We lost 3 dogs that we took with us. We have always had dogs but it was difficult to have 3 die in one year. Our golden died from scorpion sting the other 2, king Charles spanners died from horrible heart attacks. Many have this issue and they were old. I love following you and adding places to my list. Remember you went you a besutiful jewish? Church. The inside was amazing and I think you loved that. These are perhaps the typical out of the way places many miss. Besides, again, I love your honesty when commenting. Soooo many beautiful things to see in the world! I envy you guys being able to do that. Can't wait to be watching as you get to Turkey! And what happens after that. YES I plan to go on your live though I have to figure out what would be US time. Sounds like maybe just past 12 noon or even noon. But i plan to join for sure. You might be in the UK still so i wish you safe travels and hoping your visit has been good. Hope the service was good. 🙏🙏🙏
Oh Elaine, We're so sorry. Losing 3 dogs in a year is heartbreaking and in circumstances that must have made you feel so helpless. We had a similar situation with our cats a few years back. We lost 2 cats, a week apart and then a 3rd 6 months later. It's awful. Did you mean the Russian Orthodox church near Altea .? If so, yes, that was completely different to anything else that we have seen. We're not religious people, but very much appreciate the architecture used in religious buildings. The different styles fascinate both of us. Haha yes, if we don't like something, we'll say so, but normally with constructive criticism. 🤪 Which part of the US are you in now, we'll try to work the time difference out for you. It will be great to have you along for the ride Much love 💜🤟
@findingxanadulife it's hard when our 4 legged friends go, it's just like humans. Hmmm yes I think that's what it was with lots of wood i think, super nice. No worries,.probably most if not all your followers are in Europe I will figure out the time and be there. Can't think of questions but other questions might bring something to mind. Just keep being yourselves, i love your fairness and honesty, thoughts opinions on places you walk by or go inside. Love your new gizmo, sorry you had to figure out how to get it 😜 Can't wait for the live!!! You guys are great. I am currently in Atlanta, GA after living in Panama mountains very isolated for 14 years. CANNOT DO THAT AGAIN. I'm a people person, it's really affected me mentally/ emotionally for real. I am worried about my husband, think he was affected worse than me. We love to travel and we took a cruise out of UK to Rome end of April. We have family in London but we did not visit that time. We havevstaryed to get fall temps 3/4°C. Have not turned heating on and we love our duvet. Ready for Spain winter!!!🎉🎊❄️
I remember you saying about your living in Panama, that must have been very lonely for you guys. We hope to go to Rome eventually, but it might take us a while. We'll let you know about the live stream, when things are confirmed. Enjoy the other videos. 😘💜🤟
So sorry for the loss of your Dad Alison ... sending strength and love ❤ 🎉 Where will you be crossing into France ? If it's Le Boulou I'll give you a wave 😂 Bon route and safe travels xxx
Hi Summer, We actually crossed at the Col du Portalet, last Tuesday, the 8th. Merci beaucoup pour votre amour et votre soutien. Much love Alison and Darren 😘💜🤟
Sorry for your loss. Hope all is well. Aragon is pretty spectacular but I've never been. Teruel, looks lovely Looking forward to seeing further adventures and yeah I'll be up for the live stream 💪
bsmith6646 Hi, We adored seeing parts of Aragon on our trips, but we definitely haven't had enough time to explore as much as we would like to. So we will be dedicating at least a few months to touring further, when we get back from Türkiye. There is something about Aragon that we both really love, although I (Alison) don't think I could live somewhere with so much rain again. What part of the world are you in and how would 5pm central European time work for you with the live stream...?? Thanks for your condolences, your support and bearing with us whilst we stumble our way through the current drama. it is much appreciated. Much love Alison and Darren 😘💜🤟
Sorry to hear your news. Not sure how far behind you are, but Daroca is a great stop. Be aware both of the tunnels in the Pyrenees are closed. I did a UK - Spain - UK trip on my Vespa in Sept and only found out on way back.
@grahamm8729 Hi Graham, Thank-you for your condolences. Thankfully we're already approaching Calais, ready for our ferry this coming Friday, but we also travelled over the Pyrénées at the Col Du Portalet, to enjoy the scenery. Neither of us are keen on tunnels. UK to Spain on a Vespa must have been a great experience. Which way did you travel back after you discovered the tunnels were closed..?? We have added Daroca to our list for next time, it looks right up our street. Much love and safe travels 🛵💜🤟
@@findingxanadulife turned left at end of lake Aragon on N137 as was staying in Oloron-Sainte-Marie overnight. Some tricky roads for you in a motor home. Safe journey👍🏻
Hi Alison I’m sorry to hear the sad news of your Dad passing. I think you did what’s right for you to travel back with with Darren and the babies - you all would be lost without each other! You have close friends too there it’s seems an amazing place to go back to after your two year exciting journey .x
@sarahcronshaw3088 Hi Sarah, Thankfully, it was a joint decision. My family continued to say that there was nothing I could do and Darren and I do rely heavily on each other for support, along with 'number 1 son' Mahpiya, who I hand reared from birth. He sleeps on my pillow and somehow knows to wake me if I have a nightmare. I was terrified of taking the flight alone and hated the idea of Darren having to drive all that way. We do indeed have some very good friends, who have become our extended family, whom we miss dreadfully, even though we are in contact when we travel. It was extra tough leaving Potries. We were much more emotional this time. Thank you so much for your love, support and bearing with us through the current drama. Much love Alison and Darren 😘💜🤟
Teruel looks very nice! We have lived in Valencia (la Ciudad) for 4+ years, but have never been. We visited Zaragoza this spring, and we hope you guys do, too (assuming your plan is still to go there). Watching that doggie park was fun, too. Sorry to hear about Alison's Dad. :( If there is some place we can donate in his name, please let us know. Also, we would enjoy a live-stream video, but we are not available December 4th. (This doesn't mean don't have it then; just we won't be able to join in then). ;) Take care!
@stevecochrane9531 Hi Steve, Teruel has been on our list since we moved to Spain in 2018. Albarracín and Zaragoza were too. *Spoiler alert* We visit Albarracín in next week's video and Zaragoza in the video after that. 😉 If you have never been to Albarracín, you should add it to your list. We really loved it and intend to go back. As for the live stream, would you be available on other dates around December 4th..?!? What sort of time would you prefer. Darren is still currently checking out the best option for the majority of people. Failing that, if you want to email any questions in advance, we could try to answer them on the live stream, for you to catch up with when it's best suited for you. Thank-you for your condolences. They are much appreciated. As much as my dad was 94, had lived a full, happy life and we kind of expected him to pass, it's never an easy thing to cope with, at any age. My family have selected for donations to go to the British Heart Foundation. I have checked and you can make a donation directly to the charity, via the funeral directors should you wish to. The funeral director is :- Murrell Cork. North Walsham Tel.0044 1692 402059 Open 8.30am - 5pm My dad's name was John Arthur Collins. My family would be so very grateful, as I'm sure would the charity be. Thank-you so much for reaching out. Much love from both of us and my family, Alison and Darren 💜🤟
@@findingxanadulife No problem! We had a great time in Zaragoza, and hopefully you both do as well. It is Spain's 5th largest city, after all, and the old city is very concentrated. I know you're not big on cities or crowds, but going to the "El Tubo" is a must - it's old, cobblestone streets with old buildings, and TONS of (mostly) tapas restaurants. Some of them only offer one dish! We'll add Teruel and Albarracin on our ever growing list. In case you didn't know, Zaragoza was considered the "retirement community" for Roman legionnaires back in those days - you'll see many Roman ruins there, even in the city center. I don't know if you follow "Spain Speaks" on UA-cam, but Stuart is an Aussie who moved here about 25 years ago. He felt that doing livestreams around 7:30pm, Spanish time is the best - it's easy from Europe, lunchtime in much of North America, and breakfast time on the western coast of the US/Canada. It's not too, too late for parts of Asia/Africa (though only really dedicated Aussie/Kiwis would attend). He decided to do regular live streams over travel videos (less to prepare and edit). We happen to be travelling back to North America to visit our aging parents in November/December this year, as well, otherwise, we'd be ok. How about December 18th (two weeks after)? 😉 You could put up a poll with different time options here on UA-cam, too, which might help you decide. My father-in-law is 93, and his older sister will be 96 next month (my folks are much younger). Good on your father for making it to 94! 👏 I'll speak with my wife and we'll make a donation likely this weekend. Take care!
We have watched "Spain speaks" in the past. Thanks for sharing his findings, that's good to know. I'll get Darren to look into it. It's all still very much in the planning stage. Your father-in-law and his sister clearly have good genetics, that's great for your wife. 😬 Hope you have a safe and enjoyable trip and that your parents are in good health Ps Thanks for taking the screenshot. I didn't even consider the internet safety of putting the details on here. Good job I have Darren. 😍 Much love 💜🤟

We will always tell it like it is though. We are truly hoping to go back to a drama free life soon. Thanks for bearing with us and for your love and support.
Alison and Darren 😘💜🤟
Thank-you for the information. We loved Teruel. -21° is insanely cold. We definitely couldn't live there though, as beautiful as it is. 🥶💜🤟
So sorry of the passing of your dad Allison! In my prayers 🙏
I think it's great that you will continue with your travel plans after the UK and you might change routes many times due to weather or places you've discovered you want to see.
@elainebramson7042
Thank-you so much for your condolences.
The Canino Trust Resort doggo pool is in Ondara, not far from the N332 road, or a motorway junction, so it's well placed and we really enjoyed it. It was exactly what the doctor ordered.
I think you will probably want to add next week's video location too.
*Spoiler alert*
We went to Albarracín, which isn't massive, but is utterly incredible. 😉
Our travel plans do frequently change, for exactly those 2 reasons, but we're quite good at winging it. 😉
We're not planning another UA-cam channel, we are planning to do a 'Live stream' on this channel, provisionally December 4th at 5pm standard European time, 4pm UK time. We are asking if people would be interested, as it's been requested, but we haven't done a proper live stream before. It's a chance for you to ask us questions directly, or you can email/message them to us in advance, for us to answer on the day. 😬 It's a little terrifying for us. 🥴
We hope you will be able join us..!
Oh Elaine,
We're so sorry.
Which part of the US are you in now, we'll try to work the time difference out for you. It will be great to have you along for the ride
Much love 💜🤟
@findingxanadulife it's hard when our 4 legged friends go, it's just like humans. Hmmm yes I think that's what it was with lots of wood i think, super nice.
No worries,.probably most if not all your followers are in Europe I will figure out the time and be there. Can't think of questions but other questions might bring something to mind.
Just keep being yourselves, i love your fairness and honesty, thoughts opinions on places you walk by or go inside. Love your new gizmo, sorry you had to figure out how to get it 😜
Can't wait for the live!!!
So sorry for the loss of your Dad Alison ... sending strength and love ❤ 🎉
Where will you be crossing into France ? If it's Le Boulou I'll give you a wave 😂 Bon route and safe travels xxx
Hi Summer,
We actually crossed at the Col du Portalet, last Tuesday, the 8th.
Merci beaucoup pour votre amour et votre soutien.
Much love Alison and Darren 😘💜🤟

Sorry for your loss. Hope all is well. Aragon is pretty spectacular but I've never been. Teruel, looks lovely Looking forward to seeing further adventures and yeah I'll be up for the live stream 💪
bsmith6646 Hi,
We adored seeing parts of Aragon on our trips, but we definitely haven't had enough time to explore as much as we would like to.
@grahamm8729
Hi Graham,
Thank-you for your condolences.
@grahamm8729 Thanks Graham. We're now safely back in Norfolk.😘💜🤟
Hi Alison I’m sorry to hear the sad news of your Dad passing. I think you did what’s right for you to travel back with with Darren and the babies - you all would be lost without each other! You have close friends too there it’s seems an amazing place to go back to after your two year exciting journey .x
@sarahcronshaw3088
Hi Sarah,
Thankfully, it was a joint decision.
@stevecochrane9531
Hi Steve,
Teruel has been on our list since we moved to Spain in 2018.
The funeral director is :-
Murrell Cork.
North Walsham
Tel.0044 1692 402059
Open 8.30am - 5pm
My dad's name was John Arthur Collins.
My family would be so very grateful, as I'm sure would the charity be.
Thank-you so much for reaching out.
Much love from both of us and my family,
Alison and Darren 💜🤟
Take care!
Can you let us know when you have the details so we can delete them in case it's not safe to have them on here.
@@findingxanadulife Done. I took a screenshot and we’ll look together on the weekend. Cheers!
We have watched "Spain speaks" in the past. Thanks for sharing his findings, that's good to know. I'll get Darren to look into it. It's all still very much in the planning stage.
Your father-in-law and his sister clearly have good genetics, that's great for your wife. 😬
Hope you have a safe and enjoyable trip and that your parents are in good health
Ps Thanks for taking the screenshot. I didn't even consider the internet safety of putting the details on here. Good job I have Darren. 😍
