Increase in the population is not a problem it is the unjust distribution of resources that has created problems. If we control the population growth and adopt a policy of 2 childs, it will create problems in future just like China who restricted the families to have only child but now they are facing problems as their workforce doesn't have to many Young's left.

Can we compare ourselves with China?
I don't dismiss the problem of unjust resource distribution, but resource creation is also a problem and this is where quality takes precedence over quantity. e.g if you have seven childrens as a poor family, you can't afford good quality education, residence and resources for them. But instead if you have one, you can supply them far better resources. Maybe, they become an educated revolutionary, and now that single child will earn more than the alternative of seven. But with seven there chances are far far reduced.
There is not a single country which has better population growth rate and more developed than Pakistan or vice versa.
