- Evolving Management Strategies for Moderate-to-Severe Atopic Dermatitis
This Evidence-Based Best Practices™ program addresses the needs of dermatologists and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of patients with atopic dermatitis. Atopic dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory condition with manifestations in the skin and other organ systems throughout the body. Increasing in prevalence over the last 2 decades, the disease places tremendous burdens on adult, adolescent, and pediatric patients, as well as family members and caregivers. A better understanding of disease pathophysiology and effects on patient health and quality of life highlight the need for prompt diagnosis and proactive management. Moreover, research into the mechanisms underlying atopic dermatitis pathogenesis and progression supports the development of new approaches to disease characterization, ongoing patient monitoring, and treatment. With the overall goal of improving outcomes for patients with active atopic dermatitis, the program will integrate clinical data and professional experience into actionable recommendations that can be used to individualize care and improve patient-clinician communication.

I suffered from Atopic Epidermatisis for 4 months and I literally scratched and torn my skin layers in leg part. Antibiotic injection worked for 1 week and thereafter, same story continues. I found a relief after constantly applying a moisturiser and used a small brush whenever I felt itchy rather than using my hands and peeling my skin completely.
I suffer with this condition and its not easy to deal with at all, this video is very informative.
I had servere atopic epidermatiris after a lot of research try and error, I got rid of it almost completely. My solution is supplemenentation with omega3, probiotica, vit c, magnesium, zink, selenium and most important vit d, exercise and quiting milk products, except cheese. Vit d was key, in my perception.
I came away from this information as confused as when I went in speak in layman’s terms please
