Ashley Boateng lol That "sexually confused" line was thrown into the riff-off scene for a reason. I think male, female, gay, bi, straight or anywhere else on the spectrum - Flula rendered just about everyone as unintelligible as Beca was in this scene.

As a German (watching the movie in English) I was so confused with the name "Das Sound machine", since "the machine" is actually "die Maschine" in German, so the band should have (if grammatically correct) called "die sound machine". Secondly I wondered about their pronounciation, as well the German and English one (Fat Amies sentence was way better pronounced than any of the guy). And at last, I was suprised by how often they struggled for words...in Germany, we learn English as well as we can, have to write analysis and essays in english, discuss political and economically events and partly even speaking english in our freetime. I myself am average in English, I would say, and I can read sophisticated novels with barely looking certain words up...
It's called "Das Sound Machine" because of the Volkswagen slogan "Das Auto". And for the german, the actress who plays the blonde isn't actually german (but I was quite impressed with her "Wie heißt das Wort das ich meine?") The guy behind her, Flula, actually is. And it's normal to struggle for words in your second language - even if you learn it from a very young age.

Actually Fat Amy talks wirh almost no accent german and the girl who supossed to be german talks with more accent. No Wonder, because she isn't german. She's danish. Just want to say this. It's really funny. And the name also doesn't make sense, if it supposed to be german, because then it has to be die Soundmachine (i know that is read for you like die death, but otherwise it doesn't make sense. No german would ever use das it's obvious die. And I know my grammar and writing is horrible. I am sorry for that.
But the film is good anyway.
