I have a violent felony on my record for which I did prison time for. I make $60,000.00 a year at the moment. Would you like to know how I got here? White Flower- don't give up, I have been through all you mention, and continue to struggle. I was rejected more times than I can remember, I had to work for myself for a while to try and make a living. My credit was ruined, I lost my car and anything else you can think of. I found a job that started out on the bottom, I hated the job and the pay but was thankful to be working. Several raises and promotions later I look and am treated like I own the place. Keep fighting, it will get better!
I went to college and have two bachelor's degree's and seven years ago ended up with two misdemeanors on my record, since then I have been rejected by Wal-Mart, The Dollar Store, Wendy's, McDonalds, Pizza Hut and countless other franchises. No one cares that I went to college, so what am I supposed to do? The stress was so bad I even tried to kill myself three years ago and still take medication for depression. It's like I have a scarlet letter on my chest.

i got an expungement for a petty theft conviction back in 2005 can i get that removed completely ? in California
An expungement in California is technically a dismissal. The court record remains, but the case has been changed from a conviction to a dismissal. So, you are not convicted. However, the court records remain (which means they may appear on your DOJ/Livescan report); there is no legal remedy to destroy those records.

I take it you can help one recover their firearm rights I have a felony in New Jersey over a BB gun and I would also need a mental health expungement because while being arrested I told the cops I was Jesus Christ and I went to a hospital for a day
but if it can't be done I know where I live now I can still own antique firearms as in most States

After being told I could no longer work for a company due to a conviction that was dismissed I was speechless.
