It has never occurred to me that I can protect my fingers (under my nails) from gilding wax by wrapping my finger with a bit of cloths (which later can also be used in my craft!). Thanks so so much for this tip along (and there are many interesting moments in the video beside that of course, as usually). ♥♥♥

Hello Melanie, new subbie here, just love HOW you created the Momigami method. I have tried oils and creams but did not like the outcome, nor did I back it or layer it with PVA glue.....YOUR method makes more sense and I will continue making my project now, giving you the credit of course. Thank you for this tutorial and also watched the other where you use the floral paper to make a Pouch. Yes happy Crafting is what I am about. 😊
Love this! Thank you for the comment I appreciate that. It’s a fun method and the oils and lotions always end up smelling gross months later. A type of Starch paste was used originally. Glue makes sense to me too and I love the results. Enjoy 😍🦋

I've used vegan coconut oil.
Thanks for watching the channel. Coconut oil in small quantities for personal paper projects is unlikely to cause any issues. However all plant oils have a shelf life. When I made my own soap, I had coconut oil left over which later reached its expiration date. It couldn’t be used after that for cosmetics in the UK. However I never noticed an unpleasant smell with my coconut oil. For paper craft Larger bags made in this method with plant oils may need to be sealed with a protective top coat if selling to others due to Tree nut allergies etc. PVA glue is inexpensive, water soluble and 100% biodegradable. Do what works best for you and the environment but mainly work with materials that make you happy. 🥥 🌷🦋
