That is a great looking bait Mark. I think you are right about throwing it on a drop shot. I have never tried them, but I will be picking some of these up. I have seen vids of guys in Japan throwing this on a free rig also. Good luck!

A 1gram nail weight in the nose of the bait on a weightless hook will give you the action you neeed while fishing it weedless, that's all ya need is 1-2grams in the nose, right under the the line tie of the hook.
I was going to give some sarcastic answer like, “ we do that on purpose to give that lake look” but the fact is that I had just called the pool company about a problem with the filters. They came out the next day. Rest assured the next underwater Wednesday will be in a clean pool!
The largemouth in Southeast FL absolutely smoke that lure on a free rig and on the beds fish it on a drop shot, near beds or on beds it just gets munched!
