When you come to China, you will see how warm, hospitable and happy Chinese people are, they respect every foreigner no matter where they are from and live a good life. This also shows that the Communist Party's governance is very successful. But foreign media is indeed full of fake news about China, including genocide and forced labor in Xinjiang, which makes me wonder if foreigners have the Internet, and what amazes me most is that some people believe the fake news.
well not everyone is interesting in politics, xinjiang + tibet is large enough to house... let's say taiwan, 77 taiwans, lol, certainly not everyone passes through these lands are interested to see or abide to interests of independence
You said it, even when it's raining, nature can still be beautiful. Because with rain comes with clouds, and the clouds really make it feel like a painting
At first I thought he is Han Chinese , then he told us his name and that's ethnic Tibetan. Han Chinese and Tibetans share the same ancestors thousands of years ago.
I guess China never showcased much of its natural beauty to the world in the past. It was more like keeping everything to itself. When Western media bad-mouthed about China, the impression of most outsiders about China was that it was ridden with poverty everywhere, slums, squatters, poor sanitation, food insufficiency you name it.
I love the rustic exterior look of the train, but more so of the beautiful scenery you captured throughout the ride. Thanks for sharing the experience Stu and stay safe!
First time I have come across one of your videos-such a great watch! Your Chinese is so good and you interact in such a lovely way with the other passengers. Amazing to see the journey to Lhasa on this train-thank you!

Oh wow, this train ride is absolutely awesome: clean, lovely views, friendly people. This train ride will be my MUST DO when i get to Tibet one day. Thank you for bring us along, Stu. Stay safe 😷🤩
that view is beautiful! I’d assume if I were on that train myself the experience might beat the one I had, so far the best, when I travelled in Norway on a train and passed by a beautiful small village called Voss.
Beautiful scenery! Also, your fashion in recent videos has been especially stylish and noticeable~ One of my life goals is to get an entire suit made out of really ornate kimonos (whether old or new and originating from Japan or not), and the overall look of your jacket with all those different patterns resembles what I picture the finished product to be like~
Going by train is my number one mode of transport. Went to Beijing, Vladivostok, and Hanoi for summits all by train. Thankful to have my own private one
Scenic journey. Were you out of breath once you got off the train? Tibet is very high on my places to visit list but I am worry about altitude sicknrss.
hi stu from stu, nice view you ve got here, wish I could be there sometime. it feels so free in these wild lands, only i gotta do more exercise before that, or the altitude issue would kill me. XD
Hi Stu, excellent and educational video. I also have the 18 digit ID card but I believe I still need to travel in an organised group. Is this still the case? Thanks as always. David
Hello, I am a US citizen living in China, but I am told I can not travel to Tibet or Xingjian, unless I am in a tour group specially designed for foreigners. I am curious how you managed to go to Tibet. Thanks!
Many thanks for the quick reply! My wife is currently traveling in Xingjiang, leaving me taking care of the two kids at home. She is Chinese citizen, not an issue. Xingjiang is very very beautiful! @@TravelinChina
This is true Tibet, comfortable, peaceful, tranquil, developing!Welcome to Tibet! Welcome to China!
It's a pity most of the west can not see the truth, even it's on youtube. As they don't want to see the truth in fact.

Scenery so pretty. Not high speed rail, but still fast. Impressed trains so clean. A civilized society is the sum of all it's parts.

It took ten years to complete this whole rail track.
