When I was an equipment greaser, I used to help the mechanic fix/swap out scraper tires/wheels. Most times we had to pull them out with a Cat D6 dozer. That could be dangerous work.
PS... save the next guy pulling that wheel.. pickup a tube or 3 of Permatex 85420.. its Hylomar in the tube and smear the inner mounting ring and the hub ring surface with it when you go to put the wheel back on.. that will protect it from corrosion over the next few decades as its good for -50 to 500F.. and is oil and solvent proof.. and never ever get hard.. i use i it on both sides of every head gasket i install i have not had a leaker comeback since i started using hylomar in 1993.. i earned about it from an engine rebuilder who had just gotten the contract to rebuild engines for Lexus north america.. they specified it for all head gaskets. so i started using it..
Nice video - stuck wheel sure was a problem, I have the same problem with aluminum alloy rims that seize to the brake drums, but good cleaning and some tin man juice and it makes it easier. Look at the bend in that power bar extension and that feller Kyle has some strength. Cheers
All that pressure on that wheel......damned if i would be anywhere in front of that wheel when she breaks loose ...ive had them stuck before and had to work my ass off even with a boom truck to get it loose
todays video over at cole the cornstar also had tire guys beating the rims to get the wheels off their sprayer to put new bigger uns on it. i went on a parts run a bunch of years ago. the body guy had the shops 7 pound sledge just swinging away at a bracket.. he was still swinging when i returned 5 minutes later.. i yelled across the street.. do you need a bigger hammer. he nodded.. i pulled out my antique 17 pound fencing maul from the trunk.. took him only 2 swings to straighten the bracket. i stood the fencing maul next to my rollaway its too long to go inside it. the body guy was standing there panting.. drooling over my maul.. i realized he was thinking. he could elope with it to vegas and get married to it.. and live happier ever after.. you should have seen his face fall.. when i picked it up. walked it to my car and locked it back in my trunk.. it was like i had just walked off with the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.. afew weeks earlier i had loaned him my cheap 15 buck angle grinder.. i had put it back in my tool box.. a few weeks after that i come back from a parts run and i can hear the body guy out there grinding away .. i thought.. he got his own angle grinder.. he walked back up with my angle grinder in his hand and said can you fix it.. it doesn't spin any more.. where did you get this.. from your tool box. i popped it open. the drive gears were totally stripped. junk.. he said can't you fix it.. i said why did you go in my tool box.. well you loaned it to me before.. i did a microphone swing with it and shattered the angle housing .. he looked horrified.. why .. i said you broke it.. its mine and its junk.. he picked up all the pieces and carried them away like he could JB weld it back together .. i am so glad i don't work there anymore.. when i left so did all the customers..
Good times right there Mike 😂 thanks for sharing boys will sleep good tonight lol!
That is some big wheel! Needed a big hammer to persuade it. Haha Thanks for the video.

Leave the bolts out and put her back to work. She’ll loosen up.
Got a couple of good men Mike. Don't make many of those.
I seen some fresh undercarriage parts
Don't force it, get a bigger hammer.
