Former correctional officer here. I used to work at a maximum security prison that housed nothing but HO4s and HO5s with most of them being on psych meds. I have seen them terminate other inmates over a pack of owed ramen noodles because of a lost bet. I have witnessed a guy get his head bashed in with a lock and a sock just because he was in the wrong area of the rec yard. These guys with nothing to lose and everything to gain from a hit have no problem doing it.

I moved to a block and was put in a cell with a guy holding a bunch of knifes. I wasn’t getting in trouble and was minding my business in there. Came back from lunch and saw all our stuff on the tirr with COs in our cell they automatically took us to the hole. I was suprised because he ended up taking the hit and telling them they were his and that I didn’t know about them so the let me back to general pop after 2 weeks
Life is dirt cheap in prison lets be real.
It’s even cheaper outside of prison.
