I Found A Way is probably my favourite licensed track of the game so far, so here’s my slightly electrified attempt at Cassidy’s version of it. Have fun listening! My favourite character it's Lyla and I'm sorry because I didn't call her and now is depressed, also but Cassidy is a nice character
I know the lyrics are supposed to be from a woman's perspective, mainly why they chose to have Cassidy sing it because it's similar to what she's gone through, but I like the male cover better

wie findest du eigentlich den 2.Teil. Besser, schlechter oder gleich dem ersten? Mich hat der Anfang vom Spiel nämlich irgendwie nicht abgeholt und ich überlege ob ich das LP von gronkh gucken soll oder mir das sogar vorher selbst kaufe.
Hm, schwer zu sagen. Die 1. Episode fand ich zwar sehr gut, hat mich aber auch noch nicht so richtig mitgerissen. Das hat sich mit der 2. aber definitiv geändert, also ich bin jetzt voll dabei und wirklich gespannt, wie es weiter gehen soll und vor allem, was es mit der Mutter auf sich hat.

Bilde ich mir das ein, oder hört man in vielen deiner Songs Pitch Correction in den Vocal Tracks? Oder benutzt du ein Plugin, das einen ähnlichen klanglichen Effekt erzeugt? No worries, du bist ein klasse Musiker, Auto-tune hast du sicherlich nicht nötig. ;) Musik lebt meiner Meinung nach von kleinen Imperfektionen! :)
Ich glaube, ich weiß, was du meinst, aber irgendwie hat meine Stimme manchmal selbst ohne jegliche Effekte solche Clip- oder Waber-Effekte, die ein bisschen nach Pitch Correction klingen. Meistens versuche ich das rauszuschneiden, damit keiner auf falsche Ideen kommt. ;) Bin ganz deiner Meinung, was die kleinen Imperfektionen angeht.
Danke für deine Antwort. :) Clipping dürfte das nicht sein, Preamps einpegeln tust du sicherlich korrekt und die Elektronik von Kondensator Mics selbst kriegt man mit Gesang selten übersteuert. Könnte auch Nahbesprechungseffekt sein, der ist zwar manchmal ein wunderbares Werkzeug, klingt aber bei erschwinglichen Mikros (leider :( ) oft etwas unnatürlich, sehr "boomy" bis hoch in die Mitten. Könntest etwas mehr Abstand zum Mikro versuchen, das klingt oft etwas natürlicher. Die Fülle kann man mit etwas EQ wieder reinholen, "Larger-than-life"-Sound ist aber eh Geschmackssache, vor allem bei ohnehin runden Männerstimmen. Man muss nur ggf. mehr auf Raumresonanzen aufpassen. Hab mir dein Cover jetzt noch ein paar mal zu Hause über ordentliche Nahfeldmonitore angehört, da ist es auch schon weniger dramatisch als unterwegs mit Kopfhörern, die den Klang eher künstlich aufblasen. ;) Auf jeden Fall sehr schönes Cover, vor allem dass du E-Gitarren verwendest, dadurch hat das einen interessanten eigenen Sound..besser gesagt, "deinen" Sound. Den erkennt man durchaus, finde ich. Gefällt mehr sehr. By the way...ich hab das mal unter entsprechendem Video kommentiert, aber, vielleicht weil das ein älteres Video ist, keine Antwort bekommen (macht nichts): Hast du Tabs von "Just hold on"? Das würde ich gerne mal nachspielen. Ansonsten muss ich mir es wohl sebst raushören. Hab schon einige LiS Tabs selbst rausgeschrieben und auf Ultimate Guitar gestellt. :) Keep it up!
@@RedHeadGuitar Danke für die ausführliche Antwort, und dann bist du auch noch vom Fach, noch besser. :) Mit dem Nahbesprechungseffekt hab ich wirklich öfter zu kämpfen, werde noch mal bewusst drauf achten, ein bisschen weiter weg zu gehen.
Die Akkorde von Just Hold On (bin leider schlecht im Tabs schreiben, aber für das Lied sollten die reichen) werde ich bei nächster mal Gelegenheit unters Video schreiben. Noch mal Danke für die Tipps!
