Dude I almost lost it when at 5:09 she says to talk about “mental health in this industry” and then brings up Robin Williams!!! 🤣 omg if you know Gaffigan (he actually has jokes on hating uncomfortable topics) you know how much he wanted to crack a joke at her but he couldn’t bc she was so serious!!! 🤣🤣 omg the look on Jim’s face- priceless 😂

Lorna Dueck is a powerful interviewer. I love the way she was able to nearly suck the life out of Jim Gaffigan without even breaking a sweat. He looks like a big, strong man, but he was no match for the environment Lorna has created. I have not been able to figure out what kind of equipment she used to remove all traces of humor, humanity, and feeling from her studio. My guess is that she used an environmental scrubber to remove thought, reason, feeling and asbestos, and then quickly filled the void with a religious based paralyzing gas. In this case is was Christian scented. Mmm, I love that aroma! Anyway, I look forward to seeing Jim Gaffigan return to Lorna’s show, because he looked like he was having a blast. I’m sure he won’t hesitate to get back with her to further share the dogma and good times that Lorna is graciously bestowing upon us all. God bless her.

Lorna Dueck is so sweet. Her interview sounded like she could be one of your friendlier relatives. Then she said something about Canada, and it all made sense to me.

It's true! Some people love food and some people see food as a bother. I get so busy, sometimes, and see food as an interruption. Food is a very powerful thing.

I liked Jim before - but with his new TV LAND show -- I've upped my likeness for him. Flat out -- funny.
Jim is so open and honest about his life. She’s not the best interviewer in the world and I don’t think she’s understanding his humor at all. Comedians see everything through a humorous perspective and she doesn’t seem to have ANY humor at all so this isn’t a good connection here. I like the way Jim incorporates his family into his act because too . He has good values and a strong faith and all his priorities in order and I think he all respect him for that!
Agreed. I found the interviewer to be too schoolmarmy, maintained a "don't be naughty" stare throughout.
"and I did expect you to be as thin as the little guy on the cover..." great, so she starts the interview by calling him fat and saying he doesn't live up to her expectations. Wunderbar.

I was hoping to hear him talk about his "faith in God", as the title suggests. But all he said was that both he and his wife were Catholic. Oh well....

Jim is a real person. No fake or made up anything . Very brave and honest about his spirituality. He sets a great example for people. He is very crafty in a good way. He doesn't push his spirituality on others but does in an offset way by talking about Jesus in company of people and audience that catches them off guard and does it without spending the boat so to speak. Very effictive. You never hear people discuss this either.
