- Lisa discusses her experience with her mother, who has conduction aphasia. In this type of aphasia, speech is fluent (speaking in sentences), understanding is adequate, but repetition of words is poor. The fluent speech contains frequent, inconsistent sound errors (NOT apraxia) and anomia is prevalent.
