Congrats on your marriage chris. Your wife has got Stuckmannised
***** hahaha i was thinking the same xDDDDD haahah that would be too funny with his deep voice that he does
I believe his future wife were Stuckmannised more then once till now :P
***** bit saucy haha
***** trying not to imagine that anyway. nothing personal against chris he's a handsome guy just u know, weird to picture it haha
***** you're welcome :P
You can definitely tell we needed sleep in this video... Either way it was fun to sit down and talk about the movie.
Hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha
@@annax3136r u ok
Does Justin Long ever NOT get messed up in a movie?
You"re right he's either beaten or mutilated!
Jackie Nebula Pshhh nawww hheeeesss fine
Thomi Johnson Or turned into an animal (see Alvin and the Chipmunks).
He’s in Dodgeball...but again gets beat with wrenches
Hes in a Rom-Com called He's Just Not That Into You. As far as I can remember hes unscathed in that movie lol. Accepted is another movie hes in like and that too
"Is that the walrus?" I laughed too hard at that.
I know! LOL XD XD
This wasn't "scary" it was creepy and disturbing but not scary. But OPINIONS
For a Laughing Walrus of course it wosn't be scary.
jokes aside, you're right.
I like walrus
Justin Long's name in this movie is Wallace. Subtle.
+Stage Lined holy shit
Wallace the Walrus
No shit
All the subtlety of a sledgehammer
And his mustache resembles walrus whiskers
Glad I'm finding all these reviews without footage, because after I watched the scene where this guy wakes up as a walrus online, I was fucked up for days.
P247 i’ve never related to a comment more in my life
I’m still fucked up
I will *never* be able to unsee and unhear that “walrus”
I feel like if you hear the premise of TUSK and are not immediately interested in the film, it's not for you AT ALL
I was at first, then I found out that Kevin Smith is directing it so I'mma give it a chance.
Can't agree more as soon as I heard he's vbeing turned into a walrus; count me in I love weird gross movies plus my curiosity got the better of me... :)
Hannah Cornell You're a moron. Learn something about biology, anatomy, and surgery to understand this shit was laughably bad.
MetusBatman V2 He's stupid because he wants to watch a movie about something that can't be done in real life?
Connor Read You're a moron. Even the most basic knowledge in any of these fields would tell you this movie is laughable. Why are you bringing up Star Wars? Ugh, insecure morons are the worst. Now you're bringing up Inception? Is this what you do at parties, everyone is talking about politics and you randomly insert that Inception was a bad movie? You're a very, very insecure moron.
This movie really disturbed me.
Same
the last couple minutes actually made me cry
@@Gamingguy-my4wn why?
Gamingguy242 why??
Anna x3 I mean didn’t u see all of that that was on the screen it was sad (when I said cry I didn’t mean ugly crying but like a couple of tears)
I've never laughed harder then when they reveal Justin first becoming the Walrus..the zoom out on the camera then zooming in killed me.
RelapseGalore55 I understand why people find that scene funny but for me I felt so bloody uncomfortable and creeped out, what about that scene is funny to people? Seriously! I really wanna know why.
Gunter yeah that scene was more sad Terrifying than anything
Well its a dark comedy its supposed to be darlky funny and uncomfortable at the sime time
@@gunter7594 it's easier to laugh than cry
andres navarro it was never said that it’s a dark comedy, it’s a comedy/horror that’s two different things but thanks for the comment anyway.
You guys are telling me that this is a better film than clerks? Smh
Carson Brown production value is better but clerks is the better film and has better content for sure lol
I don't think this is what John Lennon had in mind when he said "I am the walrus".
Here now that tusk is on netflix, funny looking into the past pre married chris and pre steroid john
Im shocked that he got married so long ago now
Savage roast. Damn, how old was Chris here, like 19?
Hey!! Its called TRT......and going bald and shrinking cock & balls.
I didn't hate the movie, but I also wouldn't go so far as to say that I liked it. I enjoyed parts of it, right up until Justin Long fell asleep I was totally engrossed in this movie, just watching those two characters talk to one another was really engaging. I wish that was the entire movie actually, Justin Long just talking to this old guy about his life. But what it turned into was just silly, it was supposed to be a parody of crappy horror movies or something which read a few times but didn't in other scenes which left it feeling almost like several different movies by the end. It was great to see Haley Joel Osment again, you're right that he's a bit odd looking these days (it's mostly the weight I think, he's not fat but he tends towards the chubby, if you look at pictures of him when he was in his late teens or early twenties he looks alright) but dammit if I don't still enjoy him.
That movie was so unsettling.
Not really. I suggest you dont watch "Hereditary" then.
ive seen both and hereditary is the better movie but tusk disturbed me more. hereditary is more interesting than it is scary, i freaking love the ending. tusk also has a disturbing ending. they both have good aspects
This movie fucked me up. I was like "Wow Mr. Smith, wow." That's all I have to say about that.
Boyd Bissell Jr. its a really touching movie about a man who lost his humanity and the only way for him to regain it is becoming an animal. remember the winnie the pooh and not crying part, yet he cries in the end? ironic
Gábor I don't know if I'd call it touching. It was haunting, and I've given it several viewings, liking it more with each pass.
Boyd Bissell Jr. well i watched it more times too and after every view i felt like even more its a beautiful movie and the walrus costume-the serial killer is just a way to represent this idea. The Metamorphosis also a beautiful story if you can get away the bug form. but really if it were a real horror and the horror would be the key element in this movie, then in the end they would kill wallace or bring him do a doctor and get him out of that costume. but instead he is in a zoo and they are feeding him with fish (???) its a bit nonsense to believe it. its all a metaphore :) and that makes this movie a drama not a horror, and thats why i love it. but that Depp character got too much screen time and his and the serial killer's chit chat has no propuse :/
+Boyd Bissell Jr. I got upset after see this movie for 3 or 4 days, i literally could stop thinking about Justin Long character
TheJunmengo It's disturbing. I showered directly after.
You missed a golden opportunity to say "thanks so much for watching, and if you like this you can click here, and get Tusk-manized!"
If they say this is Kevin Smiths best movie, they clearly haven't seen Dogma
Maybe younger people dont know about clerks and was it.....mallrats? Whatever, he did a lot of movies.
I think this is the only kevin smith movie they've seen.
Clerks, Dogma, Mallrats and Chasing Amy are easily his best films! ☺
Dogma is shit
Chasing Amy for me.
That John guy annoys the fuck out of me. I couldn't care less about his opinion.
*Update* I've actually grown to become a fan of John over the last year or so. When I wrote that comment I honestly thought it was going to be buried with the rest of the comments on this video. I had no idea people would actually agree with me. Anyways, I retract my original comment and apologize to John. Like I said before, you probably couldn't care less about what people say on UA-cam, but you seem like a pretty cool guy. Sorry for the dickhead comment.
And nobody gives a crap about yours
Ben Dreblow Your response tells me otherwise.
07foxmulder That doesn't make much sense. By that logic, same could be said about you. You cared enough to leave a comment, just like Ben Dreblow.
Someguy029 I commented on a Chris Stuckmann video. If I would have left a comment on that John guys video, you'd have a point.
Someguy029 The truth is out there, my friend.
congrats chris for getting married! did john dress up as batman at your wedding? lol
@Women & Women First I think he said it as a joke man. Chill
Kevin Smith's most entertaining? I’d say Clerks or Chasing Amy. Those two are his best without a doubt. Michael Parks stole the show just like he did in Red State. I liked Tusk enough for a 3/5. Glad you guys liked it as well! Congrats on the marriage Chris! You and Sam are an awesome couple!
Clerks Mallrats then Zack And Miri
This movie stands alone though. I prefer it
Congrats on your marriage!!!!!
Haley Joel Osment has actually been doing a lot of voice acting lately. He's most well known role is Sora/Vanitas from Kingdom Hearts.
heck ya he does good as sora so pumped for kingdom hearts 3.
Jesse McCartney will always be the og
Congratulation Chris, have a great wedding!
For those who criticizes John, his style of dark humor is catered towards a different audience. Some people, including myself, get his style of humor, and I find he and Stuckmann work great together.
Gran Cero This.
Huge props to Kevin Smith for making a very risky movie. This could've really crashed, but it didn't. It had plenty of memorable scenes that I won't soon forget. It's going to be fun to see how Tusk is viewed over time.
ericdecosta89 *IT DID CRASH DUMBASS*
its a very memorable movie. very brutal and depressing but it had a heart and soul. It had a message. That no matter how mean the world is we must give up souls.
As the lead actress said my grandma said its ok to cry. It separates us from animals. Shows that we have a soul. One of the saddest and most brutal horror movies I have ever seen. I give it a 7.5. All actors were great but a smashing cameo from Johnny Depp.
I just saw it last night and loved it!😊
I think Kevin Smith should direct an R Rated comic book movie because he is a fan of comic books like The Boys or Kick Ass 3 if they ever do it.
He would make it suck. He can only direct the goofy shit he writes himself. Which is fine because I like most of them.
Dynamic Bedhead Haley Joel Osment is in The Boys
And look where we are now. Eric kripke is good tho.
Love it when Chris and John get together and do reviews, I want more. Thanks for the great review guys.
Dogma was pretty awesome but
Chasing Amy is my favorite movie of his
*****
Dogma is my personal favorite of Kevin Smith's. It was hilarious.
***** Dogma is easily one of his best, definitely his most substantial.
I have to say Clerks II is seriously underrated, especially if you can excuse the spontaneous song and dance scene. My wife and daughter love that part though, so maybe that was the audience Smith was aiming at with that shit...
chrizon I like most of Clerks 2 it just seemed to fizzle out towards the end.
the thing about clerks 2 is that its all about the subliminal story of kevin smith trying t expand and show his talent (jersey girl) but was bombarded and forced back to black and white endings he thought he had escaped from
hence the ending to clerks fading back to conformity black and white
"WAIT . . . is that Captain Kirk?" xD
I actually like seeing Flickster reviewing with Stuckmann.
On Johns channel hes so fucking obnixious and annoying when he does reviews that i literally cant stand to watch a entire review. Hes loud and acts like hes on speed. At least with Stuckmann, John is mellow and tolerable.
cohen ebbeck i hear ya
I see what you mean, but John has been like this for a long time and lots of people (including me) love his channel for this randomness and crazy sense of humor. I'd even say most of John's fans watch the videos for him as a persona (proof: popular Q&A videos), not for his reviews.
Again, to each his own. Me, I like John being so energetic and acting all random and loud. It's entertaining to watch. But it's okay for you to think otherwise.. :P
***** yeah john is hilarious
***** yeah you're right everyone can like what he likes, otherwise it wouldn't be a free country and it wouldn't be called free country.
But you don't have to start swearing
***** yeah you're right everyone can like what he likes, otherwise it wouldn't be a free country and it wouldn't be called free country.

This review was a real treat staring both you guys! Two of the best review channels on UA-cam thanks
Not sure about this camera setup Chris! Nakes it feel somehow cheesy
The only reason i know about this movie is because of H2O Delirious.
I get that joke......
+The furious destroyer what episode ?
+Tanner Murphy it was a hide and seek episode
me too
me to
I love it when you guys review movies together. Nice work guys!
Seeing two of UA-cam's finest together is always a lovely treat, also congrats on getting married Chris! :)
i watched this when i was under the grass influence.
never again.
Same man doesn't bother me as much as that first day lol
Have you guys ever seen Clerks I y II? Or Dogma? Thous are pretty awesome Kevin Smith movies.
These guys have obviously not seen his other movies, lol. He hasn't made anything great in a while, but Clerks and Dogma are excellent.
No Chasing Amy? That was probably Smith's most mature movie.
***** I love Chasing Amy, but im more into Clerks/Clerks II and Dogma, and Mallratz is pretty good.
***** Chasing Amy was certainly an excellent movie. I'm not sure about "mature" since the plot is about a guy falling in love with a lesbian, and trying to convert her, lol, but I know what you mean, since I've seen the movie. He handled the subject with far more sensititivity and subtlety than usual. The dialogue was also far more "normal" and high quality, than the standard KS movie, which tend to be far too dominated by his ViewAskewniverse cohorts, and characters.
LucaVideos Man Chasing Amy, Clerks 1, and Clerks 2, Dogma, Zach and Miri, Mallrats, Excellent Adventure, all great. He also was instrumental in Good Will Hunting's getting greenlit, so I have to mention that. Especially Clerks 2, which FLAT OUT, surprised the shit out of me. In fact, I will say that about Kevin Smith and his entire career. I go into practically every Kevin Smith movie, expecting to be underwhelmed, and literally every time, until much recently (post Tusk, and Red State, and Yoga Hosers, and this current True North, Moose Jaws travesty era), have been always pleasantly surprised. It sucks that when I finally wanted to hop on the bandwagon, that his movies took a turn from subpar to flat out awful, for the past decade. Considering he is one of the BEST podcasters EVER, I kind of am a tremendous KS fan, one that is hurt that he is destroying himself with his ego, and weed addiction.
Love the combined review idea! I watch both you guys and its awesome to see you in a video together. I like Chris' straight forward opinions and John's crazy antics when he's on his channel. I'd like to see more, preferably with maybe Jeremy Jahns!
Congratulations Chris hope everything goes well
Hey...Haley has made a huge name for himself in the video game voice acting. I hate how people don’t know that
Congratulations on your marriage, Chris!!!!! I hope you two live a happy, wonderful, beautiful life together! Whatever challenges, whatever endeavors come along, you two will conquer it!
congratulations chris! many happy returns brother
Chris, great job on the AMC Movie Talk. was happy to see you there.
I'm a little sad you haven't reviewed "A walk among the tombstones" yet. I, personally really enjoyed it, and it'd be really cool to hear your opinion.
Congratulations for the marriage, Chris!
Congratulations! Have a fantastic ceremony.
Best Wishes in the future Chris.
Great collaboration. Congratulations Chris!
The suspense in this movie was great. The end was unexpected. The movie is amazing
You should watch "Dogma", by Kevin Smith. It's sort of a comic-bookish, comedic discussion on religion while also having a pretty decent little plot. Think of it sort of as a graphic novel involving everything you love and hate about Kevin Smith.
I felt like it could be a little too preachy at times, especially with the stripper chick and everything Chris Rock says. Other than that though it's a great film.
COngrats on your wedding chris!
Wow this was a great review! The two of you had a very entertaining conversation for almost 10 minutes without spoiling anything in the movie! At the same time you managed to hype my interest in the movie. Hope to see more collaborations in the future, especially for obscure movies such as Tusk.
The new Siskel and Ebert?
Chris Stuckmann and John Flickinger are UA-cam's Siskel and Ebert.
You must be a kid.
They agree too often and have excessively similar tastes to get that S and E vibe.
Congratulations Chris! I wish you the best of luck!
Thanks for the fun review!
And congratulations, Chris! Best wishes!
I lost respect Chris's guest the moment he said that Tusk is Kevin Smith's best movie. Jeez, it had it's moments but that is ridiculous.
it's a personal opinion dude
I lost respect for you for losing respect for someone over an opinion
+Devin Dyquisto Cute...
I know it's personal opinion, but objectively he's a better storyteller when he writes his own screenplays rather than scribbles one together based on input by fans of his podcast. The film is a joke that isn't funny. It makes The Human Centipede look like The Godfather.

Congrats Chris! Best of luck to you!
congrats, Chris! wish you two the best!
Wow. Idk what to believe. The schmoes said they didn't blend at all, but y'all sayin it did perfectly? I'm gonna go with you guys on this one lol. The Schmoes don't get certain things sometimes.
Sometimes the Schmoes.....just don't know 😎yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! Duh dum duh dum dum!!!
Jeremy Jahns said it didn't blend well at all either. Like it was super intense the first third of the movie, then just became awkward humor and horror. But honestly The Schmoes, they aren't really the best reviewers in my opinion.
This movie divided critics all around lol. I liked the movie
In the shmoes review of tusk only one of them watched it i forgot his name but in the review he said he didnt generally like horror films and i guess that affected his review you should wait until ellis reviews it he is the one that loves horror movies
Jean Romero I trust Kristians opinion more than Ellis'. The guy gave Elysium and Mirror Mirror a higher rating than Fight Club for Christ' sake.
The first 45 minutes of this film is incredible and I honestly though I was watching the best film of the year, but sadly once Jonny Depp's character came in it was so disappointing. It's worth watching for the first 45 minutes.
Congratulations on the Nuptials Chris!! And, as usual, great review :-) May you have a long and happy life with your wife:-)
Congratulations on your wedding, hope the day is beautiful for you both! I enjoy your reviews, you're my go to guy. :)
I feel as though my life is somehow now worse for having watched this entire movie.
HAH is that the walrus??? HAH. Comedy gold.
I've grown to love this channel and I haven't been subbed for a year. One of the best reviewers no doubt. Keep it up stuckmann
Congrats to you & Sam!
Hope you guys have magical and memorable ceremony :)
damn that metroid shirt is soo hot
hey...i liked secondhand lions. granted i was really young when i saw it but i really enjoyed it & thought it was great. as for haley joel osment....wow wth happened to him???
Holly Roxy I love Secondhand Lions, it's a cool coming of age movie with a lil bit of adventure, pulp Indiana Jonesesqe vibe goin on, idk it's on my Blu Ray buy list.
Great review! Looking forward to this one as I actually heard the podcast where it was inspired (smodcast). Also congrats on the marriage man!
Great review. Love seeing John show up. Also, congratulations Chris. I hope you have a fantastic wedding.
I liked the first half but once he became a walrus and Johnny Depp showed up, it lost me.
Is that who they said Tarantino played? I swear i didnt see QT in the movie
@@brojuiceunderfoot5765 they said that Johnny Depp's role originally went to Tarantino but he didn't take the role
I had to fast forward through Depp’s scenes because they were just too annoying
I love the chemistry between you two.
The song “Tusk” by Fleetwood Mac was in this movie.
Great seeing you guys work together thank you... Congrats on the wedding
This movie was just wrong
Second Hand Lions is one of the best movies ever.
I know I love that movie. Cant believe Chris's condescending tone on it implying that shitty ass Tusk is better. Laughable.
Congrats dude , quick question where do u buy ur shirts ???
Congratulations Chris, Have fun at your wedding! May it last forever!
6:08 that scared the shit outta me for some reason
4:37 that look of chris though ahahahah. Dont touch my kirk:)
Congratulations!!! also, Chris as I'm writing this you almost 164,000 subs...Krazy On Fire! Have a Happy Wedding!
Better than Clerks? i haven't seen this movie yet but nothing will top Clerks :P
The walrus wasn't scary
You guys should do dual reviews way more, you're both my favourite UA-cam critics (other than Jeremy Jahns) and this was awesome.
Like an even more awesome schmoes know
can anyone tell me where they have seen this movie, its really hard to find a place to watch it
tusk is more disturbing than silence of he lambs to me
Yeah it fucked me up for a year
Tina Jung "Silence of the Lambs" great movie. "Tusk" from what I have seen looks fucked up.
Really? The Walrus outfit was weird when I first saw it, sure. But the stupidity of the premise took away any actual "disturbing" qualities away from it. Don't really know how you find it disturbing when the movie itself doesn't even take it seriously.
@@MRJTD99 I agree. Terrible movie, waste of Johnny Depp & Michael Parks.
Would you fuck me? I wouldnt... because I'm a FUCKING walrus!
You're getting married?? My condolen-- I mean, congratulations!!!
Congratulations man hope all goes well with u 2
Great Review Guys. Love both of them together!
Congrats for your marriage.
B+? That good?
Not at all. D- at best. If you've seen Yoga Hosers you'll understand.
I remember hearing the podcast where Kevin Smith and Mosier basically create the movie over the course of 40 or so minutes.
First the conversation starts with the letter found in the bathroom. This was a real advertisement for a roommate in the UK (which turned out to be written for fun by someone in the UK as a joke)
Then Kevin and Mosier talk through how this letter sounded like the beginning of a terrible horror movie and then they proceed to create a movie through conversation and with THAT this movie is sooooo much better
I just finished watching today's AMC movie talk which featured you Chris. It was really good.
i thought the fight scene was hilarious XD
You think that this movie is better than Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and Zack and Miri Make a Porno? Ummm.... please reconsider...
Whatta team!!
Congrats on your big day, Chris. Best wishes
Dogma is Smith's best.
I like Justin in Drag Me to Hell.
