It's always nice to have a higher voltage supply especially when working with series leds. 150v isn't too frightening, but I am surprised there is no HIGH VOLTAGE markings. 380v, on the other hand, is a little scary.... The matrix supply looks nice enough on the outside. Let's see the inside? Maybe? I agree with you on the test leads. I've gotten so disappointed in the test leads I've been getting from amazon or ebay that now I just make my own. If you get another power supply I think we're going to have to take step towards an intervention. :) Love the channel. Peace!
LOL Thanks so much for your support and feedback! When you open the lid of any item powered by the 120VAC or 220VAC - there is much higher voltages than 150V. But it is a safety point that voltages above 60VDC are on the dangerous side;)
Lol... I was wondering how hot that load resistor was getting. I assume you can directly enter the voltage/current you want...I personally dislike spinning knobs and changing columns to do that. I have a bunch of bench power supplies, and I believe the higher voltage ones warn you when you get past a certain voltage. That seems prudent I suppose.
Thanks for your feedback! Yes you can program up to 9 different settings so you can just hit a button so you don't have to dial the voltage and current settings.
Be nice to see the guts of them, compare etc.
Thanks for your vote!
Hi Eddie, I really appreciate how engaging your teaching style is. You make complex topics easy to understand. Thank you.
Thanks for your kind words! I am glad that my videos are helping you!

Thaks for your feedback!
Seems nice to me, I have an old second hand Rapid one from ebay thats only 30v, does have two sets of outputs and a dedicated 5v3a though.
How's it worked for you?
@@KissAnalog Nicely so far, had it two years or so. Like you said sometimes nice to have more though. For amps etc.
😮😊😊😊👌👌👌
Thank you!

That Micsig scope looks cool. Did you do a video on that?
Thanks - the Micsig is one of my favorites;) I've done a number of vidoes and here is one: ua-cam.com/video/bFWJUmgs_8M/v-deo.html
If you need banana type plugs, etc and you have lots of money, buy Pomona brand!
Yes - I used to always buy Pomona;) There are a couple brands now that I go to;)
