My favourite Star Wars film 😍😍 so nostalgic
Most epic scene soundtrack ever
"And that's why it's the 'Duel of the Fates'..." 🔥🔥🔥
Now i understand the title of the song. Makes way more sense
Dave Faloni is giving off Quinton Tarantino film geek energy in this interview.
The other fights aren't about the fights themselves but the dialog between the characters. This one is just a straight up brawl.
that was the best lightsaber fight ever
Wow, that’s beautiful
darn, and Qui-Gon is one of my favorite Jedi too.
I love the robust and powerful duels in the prequels.
By far the best fight in all of Star Wars
Maul firing up that second blade was a defining moment in my childhood
We really need a qui-gon prequal ❤
Okay you convinced me, I already know what I'm picking for movie night cuz I haven't seen this film in probably like 15 years
Best way to describe it
The Phantom Menace is underrated
We need a Star Wars (What if) like they did with Marvel, see what would’ve happen if Qui Gon didn’t die that day and trained Anakin, what if Anakin actually exposed Palpatine, and padme never died, what if Luke joined Vader and ruled the galaxy as father and son.
There’s so many stories that can be told with the change of just one event
He is so right
Qui gon had a very specific set of skills so i dont understand how he lost but really tho he couldve reached out as a force ghost sooner and maybe helped guide anakin a bit while there was still time.
I think it’s one of the best catalysts of any film
I love almost everything about the fight scene except for Darth Mauls Lightsaber, it’s so impractical, And it forces the choreography of the Jedi to look like they are hesitating and waiting, and not going for obvious openings in his defense
I have always, ALWAYS wanted a what if series about Qui-Gon raising and training Anakin. Of all the stories this one has never been made and I don't know why.
Kinda neat how meta the foreshadowing here was.
There is actually three possible outcomes:
One where Qui-gon raises Anakin to become the chosen one he was meant to be
One where Maul and Sidious raise Anakin to be the future of the Siths
And the one we actually got where Anakin is raised by the jedi but without the guidance of Qui-gon. And here, his fate is still open, where he will be tempted to the dark side but his downfall is not certain. Ultimately Anakin chose the dark side but also came back in the very last moment. And the whole events up to RotJ go back to the duel of fates.
