🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:00 🖨️ *Introduction to FormLabs 3B 3D Printer*
- FormLabs 3B is an SLA printer that uses resin.
- Components of the system include the printer, wash bin, and curing station.
- Resin printing offers high detail and is suitable for various applications.
01:27 📄 *Resin Printing Materials*
- FormLabs 3B uses various resin materials, including tough, white, and high temp.
- Each material requires a dedicated tray and careful storage.
- Resin printing allows for the creation of high-quality, detailed prints.
03:48 🖼️ *Resin Printing Process*
- Resin printing involves printing upside down and using lasers to harden resin layers.
- Proper platform and material storage is essential.
- Isopropyl alcohol is used in the wash bin for post-print cleaning.
06:12 ⚠️ *Isopropyl Alcohol Handling*
- Isopropyl alcohol used in the wash bin should be fresh and at the correct level.
- It's important to keep the wash bin closed due to alcohol evaporation and flammability.
- Regularly check and maintain the isopropyl alcohol level.
08:15 🛠️ *Removing Printed Parts and Support*
- Printed parts can be removed from the wash bin.
- Use side snips to remove support structures.
- Be cautious while handling delicate printed parts.
10:23 🔄 *Changing Printing Materials*
- Changing resin materials involves replacing the resin tank.
- Ensure the cap on the resin tank is loose to allow resin flow.
- Store materials and platforms appropriately.
13:30 🔧 *Leveling the Printer*
- The printer may require leveling using leveling discs under its feet.
- Follow the interface's guidance to adjust the printer's feet for proper leveling.
14:30 🖥️ *Using PreForm Software*
- PreForm software is used for FormLabs 3B printer.
- Proper orientation of the 3D model is crucial to avoid printing directly on the build platform.
- Settings like raft, density, and supports need to be adjusted based on the print requirements.
- Resin type and resolution settings should match the material used and desired print quality.
20:54 💡 *Printing Considerations*
- Consider the volume of resin required for your print.
- Resin volume can impact the cost of the 3D print.
- Resolution settings can affect both print quality and printing time.
21:23 🖨️ *Printing Recommendations*
- Printability factors such as cost per milliliter, supports, and cups,
- Tips for successful printing, including tilting pieces, reducing overhangs, and avoiding suction cups.
26:44 📤 *Uploading and Starting Print*
- Steps for uploading a print job to the printer,
- Confirming necessary precautions like the vent cap and handle being locked down.
27:10 🧼 *Washing and Post-Print Handling*
- Placing the printed object in the washing basin,
- Initiating the washing process and ensuring the cap is closed,

I stupidly forgot my password. I love any help you can offer me!

@Jorge Trenton Thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process now.
Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Jorge Trenton It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my ass :D
@Lawson Pablo No problem xD
Hi guys great video. I have a question: until recently I had the first formlabs printer and by going into the settings from the software via PC or directly into the printer settings from the touchscreen, I could set the printer in open mode...by disabling the resin temperature sensor and the tray refill sensor. Is it possible to do the same with the 3B and 3B+ I just bought? Thanks for the reply
Can anyone please tell me the approximate cost of printer
Question… is it ok to leave resin tank in the printer even if you do not use the printer soon??
So far using formlabs Form 3
Do you think it is still easy to use? Or recommend new machines from other brands
I want to buy one recently, but this is the old technology of the previous two years.
Printer technology is always changing, still considering...
Is there a recommended discussion platform?
Hey, a quick question: Where did you get/make the tool holder for the formlabs which is mounted to the wall. I really like your setup there *thumbs up
Maybe printed haha -> edit: i ordered the form3B+ whole package. At the back of the form wash is this holder connected with screws to the wash. Like this video i removed the screws and use the holder separate of the machine.
A cotton mouthmask doesn’t help. Nitrile gloves do…
Can you do a Vid on printing Dentures??
Sim entendi verdade nao e minha o Ape consulta vamos conversar ok
