Flux Max | How to Power Off to Save Battery

- Gaston points out an important, battery-saving feature in the Flux Max - ‘shipping mode’. When you first open your Flux Max, it will arrive with the battery deactivated. This is a safety feature and can help preserve battery life. You must plug in the battery to wake it up.
Please plug your machine in for a minimum of 3 hours for the first charge. We recommend the USB-C cable that comes with the machine.
When you go through the digital menu, you will see a power button icon. On this screen, select the ‘Off’ option. When the machine is fully powered off, you must plug it in to wake it up again.

My batteries for the flux (older version) literally die so fast without even using them. If I go a few days without using FK (obviously using something else) when I do go to use the FK I’ll plug in the battery and it’ll be fully drained. It’s pretty frustrating knowing the price I paid for them.
To turn off the battery, you have to hold down the button so that enters the menu and continue holding as it cycles past e-give and other options until you get to one that says, "Cancel" and "Off". Then, select off, and the battery will fully power down so that it does not drain.

This didn't explain how to power off at all? And I got mine brand new and charged both batteries for three hours each before using and they still only last about 5 hours on a full charge at about 7.5 volts? Is my battery defective?

Turn on the battery. It doesn't work.
My gold flux max did not come with the charger that you show it came with a white LG one. It doesn't charge consistently and I have to turn it off and on and attach it to the motor sometimes before it decides to charge. Today for example, neither of the batteries wants to charge and is just showing an empty battery on the screen.

How long does it take for it to go standby mode? Mine just stays on the screen forever. Hmmm
In between tattoo sessions do we power it down in the power completely off mode or will it just go into a standby mode as screen goes black while it’s not being used ?
Great question! In between tattoo sessions it's fine to let the battery go into stand-by mode. If traveling or long periods of non-use, powering down is suggested.
These batteries have terrible life to them, was 2 hours in and lost half battery, wish I didn't buy. It's all cool in theory but delivery is just off
Guys, it’s a “safety feature”. It is placed there on purpose for your safety and mine. Otherwise, who knows what could happen.
I like i look for how to turn off the battery and the description of this video states how to turn off battery but never get shown how to turn it off 😂

Does the flux max have like a new hit mechanism or is it just an update on design and battery?
