    I wonder how many of those watching this have actually visited the summit of Hull How (Great Intake)? It's a delightful top and certainly quiet .

    No I haven’t but now on my list to do. Nor have I ever visited Cathedral Cavern despite spending days in and around Little Langdale. It’s only come onto my radar recently by people talking about it on social media. Great video again Andy. Keep them coming.

      Thank you Eric. It is surprising how many people haven't visited the cavern and yet have been to Little Langdale....you will be impressed.

    We absolutely loved that walk and we have visited many of the places you showed. I find it very relaxing watching your films and of course I recognise the huge amount of work that goes into each one. Thanks for sharing.

      yes, fine views all round. I particularly like the angle of Wetherlam from there. I need to do a painting of that fell so its a good excuse to return on another day when the light is better.

    Another interesting and well produced video. We were in Cathedral Cavern in June last year and there were about half a dozen fish in the pool (black not gold!).

      Thanks for watching and commenting Les. Yes, I think there are a few little black fish in there (no idea what type or how they got there) but the goldfish seem to have long since gone.

      Thank you for taking the time to post that nice comment. yes, he is a great hound, at 12 he still does really well, no sign of him slowing down yet but some of those stiles were just too big for him on his own.

    You take beautiful, scenic walks. If they were combined with Watercolour plein aire I would be very much interested in watching. On this video I was under the mistaken impression that you had a watercolor site and waited the whole hour for the sketching to begin. Lol But the landscape was so interesting and breathtaking in places that I got caught up in the views alone- very interesting land & mountains. It is a whole world away from my landscape options!( Florida USA)

    Some great photos there. I know the area to a degree but have never been up that particular fell.
    Used to go around Slaters Bridge and through Cathedral Cavern with the children. Have seen the goldfish in the past but they had gone in more recent visits. There is a great way out through the back of the quarry via a long tunnel - but perhaps not good with a dog. However I found that many people don't know about going up the scramble at the back of Cathedral to get access to the tunnel.

    • @AndyBeckTeesdale
      @AndyBeckTeesdale 3 роки тому +1

      Thank you Philip. I think that the fell is actually a Birkett so obviously some people go there lol. Yes, I have been through to the back area a few times (with the dogs) but sadly time was against me on that day.
