Crazy offroad stuff as well as loads of BTS stuff on the land! 👍
Tom your a legend 😁💪 let's gooooooooo.........
Tom, can you PLEASE get a large first aid kit and epi pen for the secret project
Tom there’s orbs constantly in your vlogs check this huge one out at 36.36
Subscribed !!
12000/4 years = £8.20 per night 😋worth it tbh!
Tom you need to contact Colin furze to help with the bunker. That would be a great collaboration!!!!
That is the MOVE! The king of UA-cam underground bunkers
@@jess9443 would be CRAZY to see that
ive been thinking this since the secret project was announced
This is a great idea, could also be great to create certain needed fancy tools
Yes
Hi Tom, having owned static vans before, double glazing and central heating are essential for our climate. Also get one with 2 bedrooms. They’re great fun, we absolutely loved ours, they literally do become your second home.
Yes they depreciate quickly but you have totally unique circumstances.
1. You are not at the mercy of holiday parks who can raise site fees.
2. It doesn’t have to be replaced after 10-15 years because it’s ‘too old’ and
3. Why are you worrying about resale value when you have 110 acres? You don’t need the space back. It’ll make a brilliant site hut/guest accommodation/shelter/place for Alfie to muck about in with his mates etc. just leave it in situ when you’re finished with it. You don’t need to sell it as you’re in control of the land it’s on.
Brilliant vlogs btw. Absolutely love them. Love Lydia’s vlogging too! ❣️
These are all solid opinions/ recommendations. 👍
Just a heads up, if those cement corrugated roof sheeting panels are very old they might be the ones that were made with asbestos. If they are intact and not broken they should be fine and not an issue, but i saw some broken ones and those can expose you to asbestos. Mostly just a safety thing and you will probs switch out the roofing anyways, but just be careful when disposing of it and wear a face mask if they are the asbestos kind.
Liked and commented in hopes Tom sees this, as a painter these are the safety things to look for
GET YOUR LAND SURVEYED! A Drone Lidar survey would reveal all your land's hidden secrets!
we will see that go down on the tv series
Tried to get in contact with him about this, I do this professionally!
@@UniqColours Email his business email
This definitely needs to be done, for safety too because I'm sure under the land somewhere will be power lines, he doesn't want to dig in the wrong place.
@UniqColours which drone? Inspire 3 here
Chris is such a vibe . He’s on cloud 9 all the time!
Im a truckdriver and i was driving back from carlisle to the midlands yesterday, going past manchester i had the sunset in my mirrors and it was cool to know you were looking at the same sunset thinking the same thing i was
I wouldn't even look at selling the static off, always keep it around, guarantee fam or friends would love to use it for a chill quiet weekend etc
Same I feel like it’s more useful if they just kept it forever
Perfect as a HQ too as theres always going to be a shower, a sofa & gas in there 😂
Day 2 of asking you to take your very useful buckets with you to the land! Every time someone comes to visit- they get a bucket to put trash in!
Beat me to this idea
great idea!!!!!!!
Can we bump messages on UA-cam? Tom needs to see this.
Brilliant idea! 😁
Day 2 of you not having a life
Crazy how 12 months ago, Tom was excited about possibly getting 25 acres of land.... Now he has over 4 times it..
Tom I'm like 99% sure you need a concrete base for the static caravan. Because of the weight and if it rains it will just sink into the grass/dirty and they need balancing so they don't see-saw and you walk around it ( if you already know I apologise just wanted to make you aware ) p.s absolutely loving the vlogs 😊
Used to site static caravans in a previous job, usually just a thick layer of type one base and gravel is all you need. The caravans don’t weigh a lot (5-10 tonnes) and split between 4-6 jacking points with either slabs or breeze blocks under them you shouldn’t have any issues, unless you stick it in a swamp…would be funny to watch though!
Would concrete slabs under the legs & wheels be capable enough?
@@adammoorby99 yeah they will be, would usually stack 3-4 under each jack and never had any issues, over 70% of caravans on the sites I’ve worked on have been done this way. Removed some older caravans that have been sited like that for over 20 years without shifting! They get chained and anchored to the ground as well to prevent movement, so as long as the base is prepped well there should never be any issues with it
Tom you need to get a drone up in the air showing us the land!
Wait that is smart good thinking 🤔
Agree!! Would be amazing.
Lydia is literally glowing since the land it’s so cool to see how happy it’s made everyone
I design Caravans and the debonair you’re looking in is the manufacture I work for! If you need any work doing or updating, I can look at old drawings and get them sizes to be fitted perfect for you.
Hope he reads this ! Would be good.
I pick up from atlas all the time in hull luckily I live in hull and also were based in melton
Don't leave your really useful boxes outside in the sun for too long, the plastic becomes brittle (Used to work in the warehouse that made them)
NOTED!
After sorting out my gandads attic/storage room that has big dormer windows i 100% agree. picking up what you think is solid plastic for your hand to go straight through the side was surprising 🤣
@@alwaysberandom6470 Definitely, we used to store the lids outside when we needing extra space until we realised they'd been getting damaged. Now they only store them outside for much shorter periods of time and are covered with sheets to protect them.
Need to thank you Tom, you started to work out and got me motivated started on 113 kg now on 98k, we keep going to reach the 70 kg!
Hi Tom, i currently live in a static caravan (mobile home) with my partner and 2 kids, we have a 3 bedroom one, you clearly dont need that many rooms but there are a few things i recommend for the home we have been in ours in over a year now.
1. Get a winter package, better insulation, double glaze windows and central heating. Cheaper ones lack all of those and get could very fast and will be hard to heat.
2. We have gas central heating anc cooking, durning the summer a 47kg barrell of gas last us about 2 months, in the winter about a month due to the heat been on more.
3. Get a bigger living area over bigger bedroom(s) since its where you will be spending most of your time.
4. I actually built a decking around mine so that there is more living space as such.
We had a static for years and we built a big wooden deck on the front and side makes it a great place to bbq. Sadly static caravans prices do rapidly decrease but if you sell private people tend to get more money for them. Whatever happens it will be well worth the money because of the enjoyment you will get out of it😊
The clearing out of the gate house is looking good. The static caravan is a really good idea, can’t wait to see how Lydia decorates it
Alfie walking is adorable, watching him grow and develop is a highlight in these vlogs 😊.. caravans we’re amazing, absolutely good idea Lydia you can paint the kitchens and lay vinyl wood effect on the floor.. loads ideas on UA-cam where people have done it.. and Tom you will never need to sell it as you can turn it into a kids play space,or gaming space, cinema room or burger/beer bar etc etc when you don’t need it as a home anymore. ..❤
Yay! More of Alfie, he warms the cockles of our hearts.
Tom thank you for always sharing your highs and lows with us! I’m grateful for how long you’ve kept me entertained or even help escape from reality for a bit. We all appreciate you and your family. Thank you
DUDE I CANT WAIT TO SEE THE HOME AWAY FROM HOME TRANSFORMATION, VERY EXCITED!!!!
Gotta admit, I really love Chris' energy. He seems so proud of you, and he seems genuinely interested in helping you, I'd love to see more of him, he's ace.
If you are reading this, you did great today 💪
I need this today ❤
@@DropSh0t94 Whatever today gave you. You are amazing. Remember that ♥️
I legit just got back from my PT trying to not beat myself up about it. Ty random stranger! ❤
@@MumbayaMiguelosa Making an effort to improve yourself deserves massive respect. ♥️
I just woke up..
I'm having the worst day and staying up all night to get my poor pup into the vet, so grateful for these vlogs to take my mind off the pain even for a little bit 💖
Tom, those two metal tubs you found are called dolly tubs. They were used with dolly pegs, basically it's a washing machine.
I would love see him try and use one
@@kellyprice7144 😄
I love how Tom is obsessed with the sunset but I’m obsessed with the moon ESPECIALLY when it rose up blood moon
Fully looking forward to Alfie's first birthday party bonanza!!!!!!
I just love the enthusiasm and excitement fromeveryone Tom has gathered to be involved in working on The Land.❤️🤗❤️
so, the reason for the depreciation on the static caravans, is a lot of caravan sites (the ones where people rent them out) won`t allow caravans over a certain amount of years old, so people always trading up to newer ones when they hit that age threshold. Then theres so many older ones due to this, where nobody has the place to put them in most instances so lots of supply and little demand for the older stuff.
That said, if you`ve got a baby, a building project and a caravan, thats prime Grand Designs right there haha!
Tom needs to read this, post it again on a newer vlog.
If the big Christmas trees lights weren't broken already they will be over the next few days my god its windy!
TOM! One word, Metal Detector!
Great idea
Thats 2
That's two
Joe Sugg needs to get his butt out there with the metal detector
Yeah, Metal Detector for sure
will be perfect lil home on the land and for workers to sleepover get back to work as soon as they wake up, SO PRODUCTIVE GET IT DONE
I’ve just qualified as a primary school teacher and this week started with my new class! Watching Tom and his family/friends every evening is my way of self regulating and chilling out ❤
Need to scrap the static caravan idea and look into shipping container houses 👍
You’ll need utilities and a pad ideally for wherever you put the caravan
Tom I wanted to say thankyou for that chill sunset clip, the great music and just a small piece of calm really helped me today. Thanks!
Yippee. It's Thursday and tom o'clock. And a vlog to make our souls sing ❤
Tom keep doing what you are ,enjoying your adventures xx
Oh my days😊 no messing about from Tom. The boy just gets it done 💪 can't wait toget building 💪💪💪
subbed. good shit dude 🤘
The moodshift from the vlogs the past week to the past couple of months has been insane, Tom is just in his element and as a viewer i could not be more happy about the content i am watching. Keep it up Tom
Tom enjoying your new journey on the farm remember static caravans need services
The depreciation on the static caravans are so high because it costs so much to move them so when you sell they also charge you the moving costs
The static caravan is such a good idea. Also, Lydia is giving me so many great meal ideas with her gorgeous cooking. Love it ❤
Right on time at work while the kids are napping
As someone who lived in a double wide for 7 years, just make sure you are checking the roof frequently, 2-3 times a year. They leak like a sieve if you aren't on top of it
Turn this into a movie style/ documentary. Post in 1-2years trust it will go viral. You could explain your journey/legacy how you got where you are now and the inspiration to vlog everyday and share your life on the internet. With an awesome editor and your skills this would blow up.
Seeing the final product to your forever home is something I think people can resonate with even if they’re not subscribers.
@ 5:40 i hope that was Chris whispering. Gave me a chill up my spine.
I wouldn't be surprised if the land was haunted 😂
@@anak850 I mean with all the outside factors I bet it is, sounds like it says “stand right here” or “stay right here”
Well it’s been quite a week for all of you but you’re getting stuff sorted as we can all see. Have a great weekend
Tom get a professional topographer ( don’t know the actual term) with a drone to take thousands of pictures of the land and make a map, then do the same in the future to see how much the land has changed, farmers usually do this to see their boundaries and plan grass feeding for the cows
"I'm not bothered! Wear a jumper" such a dad tom love it
Petition to take Lydia and Alfie on a family holiday for all their support with how busy you are lately Tom
Or marry the woman! Shes been amazing!
ORRRR family holiday in which he proposes🤣🤣 *jokes Tom will propose when he feels it’s right*
Hard hats and safety shoes/ boots. 🤞🙏 specially round all the buildings. Safety first !!!
Those caravans looked amazing 😻 .
If your gonna put the caravan where you want it get Andy or big Tom to check the branches on that tree
Man, this is gonna be insane to watch over the next 3 years and just see the progress from purchase and first day on the land to seeing the HQ possibly done or half way and the place just looking stunning 🫡📈🙏
I love how even though Lydia has taken all those monsters out of Toms shower, he still decides to use hers 😂😂
Don’t grass on me lol!
Chris Is like another Andy , just keeps helping out 💙👌
Hey Tom, you should consider to start wearing safety shoes whilst beeing on the land.
So random but Lydia looks absolutely AMAZING with her new hair!! Just brightens her up every time we see her, def taking inspo!!
Letsss gooooo Farmer Tom!
🚜
The mobile home is a great idea! I can’t wait to watch Lydia (here on YT) making it a home 😀
*I'm overjoyed and grateful to see God's blessings and abundance manifest in my family's life. We're thriving and happy once again, and I can now provide for my loved ones even in retirement, thanks to a remarkable weekly income of $67,000. It's a game-changer after* *facing many challenges*.
Only God knows how much grateful i am. After so much struggles I now own a new house and my family is happy once again everything is finally falling into place!!
Wow that's huge, how do you make that much monthly?
I'm 35 and have been looking for ways to be successful, please how??
Thanks to my co-worker (Scott) who suggested Mrs Maria Angelina🙏.
She's a licensed broker in the states 🇺🇸
@LifeofTom and Lydia the static home is such a great idea you can also get a wrap around balcony which would be epic in the evenings watching the sunset on your Land …
You need that cabin on the land ASAP! Overnight stream on the farm! Nightvision cam ...Get that big ass torch you bought and light up the land! 😂
give us an uncut video tour of the land from start to finish using your camera but for personal shots but mainly just a drone following you around showing us and you a different perspective of what the land fully looks like as a whole?
Looks like a bomb went off in every room of the house. My goodness Tom, what an absolute mess.
Been loving the daily vlogs recently! This journey has been crazy to watch! Keep up the awesome content!
I love seeing you so full of pure joy brother keep up the hard work yall got this 🖤🙏🏼🖤
There we go good timing after dinner a great vlog
My parents own a static caravan and they do not re-sell well at all! Its going to be something you will have to consider, so my advice is to not dump too much money into it if its not going to be a permanant thing.
That gate house really needs levelling. So much safer to rebuild the stone design into a new building
Tbh he needs to flatten everything and rebuild it.
Yea would be best to just reuse the stone in a new house project
Cant get away from miss Rachel! 🤣 Lydia singing that song killed me
Lydia: It doesnt have central heating
Tom: So, wear a jumper.
Absolutely pissed myself ahahahha
Or as my dad use to say “run on the spot”
Typical northern way of thinking
I'm watching it now and even better the new t-shirt turned up today!! Love it!!
Also being under the tree next to the horse box think about the sap and stuff that will fall off the tree and degrade the outside quickly. Meaning depreciating value! But brilliant idea, it makes sense if you get a cheap one especially if Lydia is wanting to renovate it as a project. Having one finished or a lot more expensive just feels like modernising not renovating. But totally my opinion doesn’t mean anyone else might think the same. Can’t wait to see it keep coming together. Let me know my guy, landscaper norwich !
Depreciating value is irrelevant when buying used. As soon as its placed its worth scrap.
Ooooooo good point!
Just got my new Syndicate Original Black & Blue Next Move shirt in the mail! I don't have an X account, but thought leaving a comment would suffice! Thank you Tom, Alice & Team!
Don't dawdle on the encroaching neighbor, Tom. The longer he's on the land the worse it will get.
Tom, you're enthusiasm is infectious 👌 I love how this is your dream but the squad is right by your side and success is best when it's shared. You don't win alone! You my guy are legend 🤙🤙🤙
Can't wait to see the home away from from home on the land brilliant vlog yet again
I love Lee from neo smart being the new addition to the vlogs and the banter he brings!
Excellent video as always Tom
We watch every evening - exciting project. Can’t wait to see what the future holds and to see the plans/drawings for the site (farm)
Be sure to install security cameras around the buildings and stay vigilant for any asbestos on the roofs or old insulation materials
Another amazing vlog and a beautiful sunset to finish it. Wish you the best to get the water going. The static caravans are great to have
What a great idea on the caravan and if you go for the one that still needs furniture in it and beds Lydia's new project on decorating it plus you should get a discount on it buy has seen . Alfie is taking more and more steps now and happy 10month birthday.
Wouldn't it be great Tom if you could re-use the diesel pumps again
When tom buys the caravan "when the caravan is rocking dont come knocking"🤣 love the videos tom
Hi Tom. This is the 1st time I've missed a 7pm upload but now that i have moved to Korea i need to get the alarm prepared for the 3am upload. Ill be waiting for you hahahaha. Keep doing you. Your the master of your own future and so far your also making fellow viewers follow their dreams as well. Because of you I'm now happily engaged and living life as a Scottish English teacher in South Korea. Thank you for the motivation.
I appreciate the effort so much of you doing the timelapse of you working hard getting that rubbish out. thanks tom, respect
The work gone Into that stone house is insane yall should so proud for the progress in just a week It's amazing!
i live in a caravan and i have my queen bed and my pc set up in here it amazing. a static caravan is right what you need just to chill out till its all done, you wouldnt wanna get rid of it
Love to see the on-time vlogs it is 4 o’clock in the morning here in Australia, we love what you do in Tom. Keep up the amazing work.
I used to transport caravans and build them, you’d have to get the brushes and trees cut back you’d also need hard standing and electrics for the pitch and when the bushes and trees cut back you’d easy get a lorry down there but you’d have to take a bit of the wall down
Tom as someone who’s lived full time in a static caravan central heating and double glazed windows are a must especially for them morning showers (in your case afternoon) recently upgraded to one with double glazeing and central heating best decision I’ve ever made
What would be sick is both tractors next together before and after! 😍
Tom, I've worked with these caravans for years, if you can mate buy one with double glazing and proper heating they get damp and mouldy very quickly due to the fact they aren't sealed units
Hi Tom love the idea of the static caravan, one thing that might be good for thought though is that if you do chose your location for putting it I personally wouldn’t have it under trees. Even thought they are well built any tree falls or branches will distort them and be quite dangerous.
Loving the content keep up the good work
What a way too start my day, with a Life of Tom vlog!
Pause at 32:43 and just look at how good that house looks all cleaned up well done @partridge exterior cleaning looks awesome 🔥🔥
Anyone else not able to sleep , so watch back Toms vlogs to keep the positive thoughts on Repeat ❤ thats me tonight 😊
you're living every little lads dream with that land, love the vids!!
I'm loving the farm videos i have been around since the start of the Minecraft project so i am very happy to see everything that has happened in your life congratulations on starting a family and doing the things you dream of it gives me hope. I was just laid off today in the middle of work so things could be better but I'm making the most of it have an awesome rest of the week and a great weekend cant wait for the next vlog.
I think with all the projects and crazy vehicle plains to be had, a great name for the SSP would be 'Full Send Farm.
