With your help, I learned that, out of the box, its default is "flat" mode, doesn't automatically focus on recording me, the speaker, without adjusting the settings to "speech mode." Very helpful. Was ready to send this thing back to Amazon. so thx!
Does anyone have any idea why this microphone is not recognized in Zoom? It sounds very soft and muffled in zoom like it is just blocking the audio or something. The Shure website says it should be on an iPhone. Am I missing something?

Hi, I just bought this mic . The problem is that I have an iPad pro 2020 with USB c . I also bought an adapter, but the mic is not working . What can I do ?
Sometimes, my MV88 works great with my iPhone 13 but sometimes the audio is entirely muted. And this seems quite random. I cannot figure out why it is happening or predict when it will happen. Any ideas or suggestions? It is a huge drag to interview someone on camera and get no sound.
Depends on the case, if you have a low profile case then I’m sure but if you have a heavy duty case like a life proof or heavy duty otter box then I’m not sure
Hi, thanks for the review. I just got mine but it seems like it doesn’t work when it’s angled fully folded at 90-deg angle. Does it need to be angled at 45-deg for you to work?
Same for me, I don’t see big difference honestly and when it is windy and rainy it is very hard to use. Get wet and the audio get disturbed with wet connector alarm. I also tried to tune the microphone with the app but no major improvement
i guess Im asking randomly but does someone know a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the login password. I would love any tips you can give me!

how can you raise the volume on the mic, for some reason when i put the footage on imovie its super low
When done recording a video with the mv88 but still have it plugged to my iPhone, can I listen to my playback that I just shot?
never tried it, but yes, should come out of the iphone speaker
