Just got a sample in today and Justin couldn’t be more right about it! It’s different and very fresh. Definitely worth checking out. Great video!
Got better with each wear for me. 6/30/2024 currently and wearing now. The musk projects heavy for 3-4 hrs and is joined 1st with woods then something sweet pops out for a bit. Not sure what the initial top note is but it gives the fragrance its uniqueness and hangs around. Nice fragrance
Hey Justin! Loved the review. I bought Man Rain Essence almost two months ago and already finished the bottle. It is a very simple and likeable fresh fragrance. I work outdoors driving and delivering and I always want to make sure that I smell fresh and Rain Essence does it for me. Sometimes I wear Dylan Blue as well. For dates, I go for Aventus Cologne or Oceania by Roja Dove. Love your channel!

I don't have high expectations for this one but can't wait to try it. To me, it seems to be a really light tea fragrance that is made only for the hottest days of summer.
P.S. I hope Bvlgari appreciates honest reviews and sends you more bottles in the future. (not that you said anything wrong, it's just that some houses prefer hype)

Great insight. From this line I have MiB and had Extreme and after testing I think Terrae Essence is bottle worthy (it's like a mix of TdH and Guilty Absolute). Cheers!

I think it really shines in the sweltering heat. Tried wearing that one on 35 C (95 deg F) weather last week and i felt it's a unique (for a designer anyway) take on a refreshing scent.

I tried it at Macy’s and got them to make me a sample. It feels very basic, but different. I will probably wait until the bottle goes to discounters before purchasing it. Glad to be able to get decants.

This comes in timely as rain essence is one im looking forward to. I have wood essence and glacial essence neither of which are amazing but they are decent designer scents. Was looking forward to their concept of rain which i wanted to see if theyre going to have a different take from when the rain stops by margiela. Thanks for the 1st impressions video

I tried it at Macy’s a few weeks ago. It’s really nice and I’ll pick it up once it hits discounters, though it doesn’t last like all other bvlgari fragrances 😂

My wood essence words fine on skin when it's hot and humid. Inside where it's 70F all day long, not so much.

I have it, man this smells good. To me has a fresh lemon feel.
Haven't tried it. When I heard, it reminded me of Margiela's after the rain replica. Which does what it says, but a bit too chemical. Would like for something that does bring that sense of rain, that memory of rain, in a natural fashion.
Look into Darren Alan Perfumes' After the Rain - it is like you are walking through the forest after a storm. You smell the rain as well as the wet grass and leaves. However, you also get damp tree bark, moss, and wet earth. It isn't meant to be a fragrance that you would necessarily wear out somewhere. Instead, its a very literal smell of the woods after it has rained - best for wearing while you lay back and listen to some music and let the scent and your mind take you on a journey.

How does this compare with Nishane Wulong Cha? It seems that the notes are comparable at least in a similar realm. That is if you have had a chance to smell Wulong Cha. Also the voiceover was excellent 👌🏼

This interests me cos I like fragrances that remind you of nature....not sickly sweet or synthetic....Bulgari aqua is an experience...like ozone spray on a Mediterranean shore.I also like the ingredients in d and g the one,le male,issey miyake.

Bulgari Man Extreme is a very good freshie, with good performance for a freshie. Have you tried that one? It's also fairly unique for a freshie with a cactus note.

Ive blind bought from copelands critiques and hes solid. There is a level of sportsmanship to this though.

For me this is the best opening of a fresh fragrance, I’m in love with it but it really lasts no longer than 3 hours on my skin

Hey Justin! First off thanks for this review. This fragrance from BLVGARI sounds interesting but I’m going to wait until I can wear all white before I get a sample.
I know this has nothing to do with the video, and I know you can’t give me a definitive answer but…
Today before church I wanted to layer my scent. I put one million elixir on the base and guess seductive red on top. On my skin it made a spicy mango scent. Almost like mango and cumin. Those notes aren’t in either fragrance. I’m confused on how this came out! However.. it made a creamy spiced mango projection that I enjoyed. I just don’t know how it came about?

I would love to hear your review of LOLITA LEMPICKA AU MASCULIN 2000 (with the tree trunk looking bottle) it’s such a unique & haunting fragrance that is lesser known.

That sound extremely interesting to me, but I’m not sure about it. I got a sample of BVLGARI Eau Parfummee au the blanc. Not sure if it is for women, but it’s okay. To be fair, I need to give it a decent wear, but on the wrist it was just an easy breezy smell good. Nothing exciting, but then again I get excited by Amouage releases and I think Toy Boy is a masterpiece 😆

Some people say that Frapin L’Humaniste (niche) comes close. I can kind of see that, but they by no means replace each other. Might be worth getting a sample!

I appreciate how honest he is even though they sent out the frag. I wasn't expecting a strong one through, it's seems like a spring day scent that projects with the heat anyway. I'd buy it as a dumb reach for 70-80 weather

Tried it and loved the opening but after that, well … like you said, there is something missing.
I'll be honest, I love the Bvlgari Man line and own most of them. And I love Alberto Morillas, but I was severely let down by Rain Essence. Super weak, no petrichor or anything resembling a rain scent, easily the weakest in the line. I was so disappointed, this was one that I was ready to pay retail for.
If you can, just get Glacial Essense at a discounter if you want something in this style. Or if you want a rain scent on the cheap, get Metal Rain from Banana Republic which can be found around 22 bucks at rack stores.

Hey Justin. This is the problem with all Bvlgari MAN original and flankers: not enough personality, sillage or longevity. My favorite is Wood (green one). Overall they are just too subtle. I'd be interested to see Parfum flankers with at least triple the oil concentration because most have really interesting ingredients.
Iny experience bvlgari needs a little heat and body sweat to make it really sing. It won't do so well if you're in a climate controlled atmosphere
You should give black orient a try. It’s a very spicy parfum. I personally enjoy the entire line tho

It's probably along the lines of a Bvlgari Glacial Essence. It was a pleasant scent, but nothing outstanding on scent or performance. I didn't find it to be full bottle worthy.
Today I went to look for Rain but only found Terre and Glacial. I was interested in Terre because looked like it would be an amber scent judging by the color. I liked it alot but I don't like something in it that I smell in many of the newer fragrances. I also tested NR Bleu EDT again. Again, that had a similar note that I just find cloying. I think Rain would smell much better since it's a fresh scent. Terre was OK. I tested them against Issey Miyake nuit as a reference and it just reminded me that Nuit is a badass fragrance for the price.

So much hate. As a collector. This fragrance fits who needs it. If you dont need a fresh scent or one with slight musk than this is not for you. This is what i was missing. Sometimes i want simplicity. This simple fragrance works

Sounds quite like the original EDT which I have for almost 10 years. Not bad but quite boring. Huge bottle is still almost full.
