Pumpkin reminds me of the horse I own Jack!!!! Have fun!!! And also I know your just learning and all but I know Pumpkin was being good so you gave her a treat! My riding teacher said since they have a bit in their mouth they could choke because the bit goes on top of their tongue! Not trying to be mean just some friendly advise. And you will get the hang of it soon!!!!!!!!!! Love watching your amazing videos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your trainer kinda reminded me of my own 🤣 “Smack him if he’s not listening!” “Why have a crop if you’re not gonna use it?” “Are you allergic to your markers?!” “SQUEEZE HIM!” “If you let him tail chase again I’m moving you down a class!” 💀💀 She’s awesome though
I love your videos! Do you think that next time you could show us you bringing the horse you rode out or feeding the horse? Just really whatever you do after your lesson os done. I think that would be kind of cool to see how your barn does it compared to other barns like mine.
Your rising on pumpkin seem absolutely gorgeous! The strides over the poles too, just stunning! I really like how you decided it’s best to get a crop for Pumpkin! Good job sista!! ❤
Don’t worry about the “clicking or kissing too much” because if you kick too much they can become dead to the leg and they won’t react at all eventually so I would recommend mixing in kissing clicking and squeezing more often and to know if your on the correct lead you will either be leaning more to your left or right! Super helpful and easy way to know x and if they don’t go on the right lead go into trot and immediately lift you inner hand up and ask again to canter ! Hope this helped!!!❤❤❤❤
This is like- idk random but anywayyyys, Um when you hold you crop I recommend having your crop on the inside because when you tap them they might move towards the wall but when its on the out side when you tap the might move more into the middle. Also pumkin has GREAT eyelashes 😅
Just a tip. U might know this already it's a bit of a tricky habit to break. When u want the horse to go out in the corners the best thing is to lead just tiny bit with your inside reign and squeeze the horse out with alot of energy with your inside leg. If you pull the outside reign wich is a natural thing to do because you try to steer the horse out the horse will automatically not go as far out in the corners as it should and it will not bend properly. And then later the bending and corners and energy with the turns will have alot to do with the horses form and working its back legs aswell. And i know that habit of clucking hahah it's awful to break once u started if the horse is tired 😅 i have had many days of cramping legs in my years from that 😂
I also really struggle with using too many audio cues (clucking, kissing). It's really unconscious, just a habit by now. A friend came to take pictures of me during one of my lessons once and I was clucking in ALL of the pictures. It is absolutely something I need to work on and something I've been conscious in my recent lessons.
Omg trainers are always like YES! Cluck more Kick Kick harder! Cowgirl kick! Go hard . Kick those spurs! YOU HAVE A CROP FOR WHAT? Atleast thats just my trainer. 😂
I have been riding for my whole life in Canada and I know what siting trot is and 2 point and posting and collected trot and extended trot is but what is half seat
Half seat is kind of like between two point and sitting the canter. You’re raised out of the saddle but your hands are not on their neck! A lot of people use half seat canter
“ooo girl what’s your secret” LOL pumpkin has some good lashes
LOL she’s definitely got a secret serum or something 😂
"so much clucking, try squeezing you be AMAZED how it works" literally the most iconic line from almost every trainer ever 😂
Cant wait to watch!! I had a lesson today at 10:00AM-12:00
I hope you had a great lesson ! ❤️

LOVE U CLARA ❤
LOVE YOU TOO! 😍
I noticed that you ride a lot in group lessons, and I was wondering if you prefer it over private lessons?
I’d love to try a private lesson sometime! But group lessons are more affordable for me right now :) I will definitely take a private some time !
