The German quick release system is not German but for para troopers. The Dutch marines use it to, because the jump. The other system is for the infantry And we have at least 6 different covers, DPM woodland, forrest, 2 desert, snow, and blue for the KMAR.
@@DevinK Thanks Devin for the information. But is it really possible for a helmet to stop level iii threats like 7.62x51 or 39 at full velocity? What would be the weight of such helmets? Lot of people say even ECH can also stops the rifle threats but I don't think it's weight allow to stop rifle threats what are your views ?
Kusumesh Mishra the ech is rated to stop 7.62x39 at over 200 yards. And there is helmets that will stop rifle level threats but are incredibly heavy usually around 10 lbs or 4.5 kilos in weight and thus can not be worn for long periods of time such as the Swiss tig helmet and the Russian altyn helmet
