Doug Lamb, K4EK describes ham radio as....
Ham Radio is the ability to communicate -- across the street, around the world, or even with people and satellites in space! Even when the power's out, and the land lines and cell phones don't work, with a battery, a radio, and a wire, ham radio is there.
Ham Radio lets us enjoy life-long friends, and a hands-on technical education. It provides the resources and encouragement to experiment with new things and to design and build on the latest communications technologies.
You can't say that the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon! You can go anywhere you want, without boundaries, and amateur radio can help you get there!
Copied from internet. I did not write this.

Especially if made of Brick, that’s definitely very expensive anywhere in the USA. I don’t see any new homes built with brick. But I think the “world goal” for USA is to rid of private home ownership anyways.
Nothing built here is maintained proper- roads falling apart. USA is really damaged top to bottom due to the government not keeping up with any infrastructure.
And if anyone has a basement- they are rich to me. Who can even afford a home in the USA-
When the AVERAGE mortgage is $3,000.00 per month - as of 2023.
Brick homes in USA are dying out. A cheap wooden home runs easily $750,000.00 with no yard in a community that tells you what you can and can not do- here in NC.. & it will be falling apart in no time.

Real estate prices in the US vary greatly by state and even within locations in the state, which is why I posted the average Massachusetts home price and those within the greater Boston area. I'll also add that the cost of buying a home here is out of reach for many people just starting out, which is why many adult children are still living at home with their parents. I’m glad your snow and cold is subsided. I watch many videos of Russian winters and being born and raised in Southern California it’s a very different for me. Even watching the news of the USA states that are cold are different for me. I must say I love snow. I wish I would get a little snow where I live. We just get hale.

Later, I discovered they are good for food and tea. 🤷. Long car is a limousine. That is for *very wealthy people, or one very fancy wedding or funeral. Loved the tour. Thanks for taking us along.

Interesting tour. The bus situation in Michigan is similar in most areas, with no ridership and govt subsidized. I am surprised by how bad the streets are there in some areas. Another interesting thing is how most houses there are wrapped in privacy fences. From what I saw I like your house and area better, it's good that you feel the same.

Hi guys! Happy Valentines day! I'm lucky if I have a thousand dollars. I'd love to get a house out in the country but I never had a house I'm always stuck in an apartment and I'm paying $650 for a month. Nothing included no yard. In the neighbor that lives above me that I got to hear pacing constantly. And she has her friends and family that come over and block my son's vehicle when they have all the room in the world to park normally next to her they park crooked. Very rude and ignorant.

It's hybrid rural living....so homes and infrastructure you find in a superb and yet built aside country lanes and and without the radiation of a city infrastructure. Those roads are maintained...they don't have potholes and they drain properly ...they just aren't cosmetically sealed in concrete....another plus. Good fences make for good neighbors.
