  • Peter lived a wild life in addiction. Drugs, money, violence. That was 10 years ago. Today he is a prominent member of the recovery community here is Saskatoon and in Calgary. Wild story, must listen.

Thanks so much for the opportunity to share my experience strengths and hopes. Just a reminder that i am an addict in recovery and not the voice of Narcotics Anonymous as a whole!

Fought all my life too brother. My mom was adopted also and had me when she was 19. I’ve lived the chaotic life with her and she wasn’t even using drugs or alcohol regularly. That shit definitely makes us adaptable for sure and not always in the best way but it’s definitely a survival mechanism from childhood and maybe even before.

    I love this guy
His life mirrored mine in Seattle in the early 2000s.
Incredibly, at the age of 40 I got clean, moved to Hawaii, started a very successful business from scratch, learned how to surf giant waves, got married to the woman of my dreams, have a beautiful 16 month old daughter and another on the way!!!!!
Sometimes I can’t believe how much for fortune has come my way.
Sometimes I’d like to joke around “who knew all this would happen if I just stopped shooting up every day”

When you say you sponsor Many Men it made me think of the 50 cent song “Many Men” lol.

    Another great sobriety share!
I wonder if my son ran across any of your paths!
I was always so fearful of him being on the streets of Saskatoon but Albuquerque is just as dangerous.
