Like, in his first manhunt he had the idea to revive the dragon, in his second Dream won because of the flying machine Sam taught him, and now he was the only one who knew what Dream was doing with the dragon

But one thing, the water does like a damage of between half a heart to one heart to all the end creatures. so if he didn't destroy all the crystals, then wouldn't the dragons healing power be higher than the damage by the water??? unless im missing something lol

It's actually really funny watching sam and dream realize what the other is doing and panicking. Like the respawn mechanic of the dragon and dream panicking, and sam panicking about dream cheesing the dragon, it's just funny seeing everyone else get confused and them panic. @@erinclarke5316 The end pearl and the trapdoor thing is called a stasis chamber, it allows to know if you are alive or they can teleport you back by clicking the trap door as when a pearl hits something solid it teleports you back. Dream put a daylight sensor and put it in a a cave with a hole at the top. So when the sun hits the sensor, it will activate the trap door and send him back.
actually he used the ender crystal thing twice before and hes used quite a few of the traps before repeated times, but yeah even when he does it it never gets boring

@@noecovolan4317 The ender pearl teleports you only once it hits a solid block, not water. The daylight sensor kept that trapdoor open during the day, so the ender pearl stayed floating on the water. When it got dark enough, the daylight sensor closed the trapdoor, the ender pearl landed on it, and pulled dream back.
This was honestly the most stressful manhunt so far. All the low health situations, him using sweet berries for food most of the run, it was just so nerve-racking. I just thought he was gonna lose this one from the start because the video was only thirty minutes. And I DEFINITELY thought he was gonna lose when he wasn’t even in the end and there was like not even two minutes left in the video. I really didn’t expect him to insta-kill the dragon. Also that pearl stasis chamber that activated when it turned night was absolutely GENIUS. also I just thought the moss play in the huge cave was just funny. All the hunters came to him in full iron and he just got rid of them all like little cockroaches XD.
I love the "in-between" moments of the manhunts. Like, whenever Dream kills all of them and so the hunters are trying to get all their stuff back and restock while Dream is like, silently escaping/plotting or whatever. That's just when all the funny conversations start up, like Sapnap and George fighting like brothers or Ant casually getting a cat or something (timestamp - 9:58). I just think it's a really funny contrast, especially after the intense chase that just happened.
I love sapnap and George’s fights; And then when dream is one hit away from killing George, Sapnap does everything to protect and save him 😭 it’s so cute my heart melts.

Those final moments when Sam realized what dream was doing and tells them all to fighting the dragon and keep it from going down as the music builds up,hunters screaming,and the dragon being slain. My favorite manhunt moment by far. Great job guys!
It's two years later and *man,* the whole combo of them thinking they've cornered Dream and know where the stronghold is, only to have their day instantly ruined by him teleporting, entering the stronghold, going to the end, and then setting up an instant kill for the dragon was a cinematic masterpiece. Immediately the game flipped over onto their heads.

The ending really shows Sam's contribution to the hunters: he is a near genius in minecraft mechanics, bugs, and exploits. This comes with him being quite redstone savy, but also allows him to see the tricks dream had lined up before they are properly set up. The fact he instantly knew what was up at the end without a doubt made it harder on dream, even though they ultimately failed.

It's two years later and *man,* the whole combo of them thinking they've cornered Dream and know where the stronghold is, only to have their day instantly ruined by him teleporting, entering the stronghold, going to the end, and then setting up an instant kill for the dragon was a cinematic masterpiece. Immediately the game flipped over onto their heads.

The ending really shows Sam's contribution to the hunters: he is a near genius in minecraft mechanics, bugs, and exploits.
This comes with him being quite redstone savy, but also allows him to see the tricks dream had lined up before they are properly set up.
The fact he instantly knew what was up at the end without a doubt made it harder on dream, even though they ultimately failed.
My question was why didn't the hunters place a block on the water source block to stop, or at the very least, delay Dream's attempted exploit?

the very small detail at 22:58. dream was running into a soul sand valley and awesomedude said “i have soul speed”. that made dream turn around from the soul sand valley and go the other way. if dream hadn’t known awesomedude had soul speed, dream could’ve died.
