Delighted to listen to this magnificent treat in the soulful voice of this young prodigy of Ghazal Gayiki for the very first time ! I feel -- the emergence of Ranjit Rajawara is the next best thing to happen on the ghazal scene of lndia after the emergence of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab and Hariharan Saab ! He has clarity, quality, depth, and wide range in his voice, which is eminently suitable for ghazal gayiki ! Besides, he has a style of gayiki which is so unique to him ! It is felt that if Ranjit Rajawara continues to persevere by doing 'Rewaj' on regular basis, this young prodigy has the potentials to blossom into a future prospect in the realm of Ghazal Gayiki in the years to come ! However, Ranjit Rajawara has to concentrate adequately on improving his URDU pronounciation, since right pronounciation of URDU language plays a pivotal role in Ghazal Gayiki ! Anyway, three cheers for this budding prospect for this valiant effort !
