Let’s make a fun spinner toy! 🌀✨
1️⃣ Take 3 coloured sheets of paper for your toy and another coloured sheet for your small fixtures on the toy, paper straw, wooden skewers, pencil, scissors, and glue.
2️⃣ Slice half-centimetre wide and around 20 cm equally long strips from your colourful paper.
3️⃣ Create four circles of 1.5 cm diameter with tiny holes in the centre for the skewers to get in.
4️⃣ Take one of your circles and apply glue on them and stick one end of each strip with equal distance and then stick another circle on top and let it dry completely.
5️⃣ Glue another circle and stick the other ends of the strips and secure it with another circular piece and let this dry.
6️⃣ Now insert the skewer through the toy and now secure the top by poking in anything made out of foam or rubber so the top stays intact like in the video.
7️⃣ Cut a small piece of the paper straw, make four slits and open up the flaps.
8️⃣ Apply glue to the ends insert it through the skewer and paste it to the circular piece of paper and let it dry
Now you’re ready to play! Spin the skewer or use the straw handle to see some fun patterns from the top! 🎉
