The Sound of Settling - Death Cab For Cutie (Clone Hero chart, Expert Guitar & Bass)

An upbeat anomaly by Death Cab For Cutie, part of a follow-up to a genre themed pack I charted in 2021: Alternative Rock 02. Three songs by Alternative Rock bands featuring mostly fun guitar melodies and incredibly simplistic bass (with a few minor exceptions).

I don't know much about this band (nor do I care to know) but my understanding is this song is VERY unusual for them. It actually sounds happy, even if it's not the most lyrically upbeat. Anyway, the guitar chart features some neat extended sustain riffs and fun chord sequences for such a short and simple tune. I believe this chart was adapted into a full band custom for C3/RV so feel free to check that out if you like the look of this but want drums and pitched vocals.
