Very interesting, thank you. We moved last year and have gained two ponds. One is a nature pond, the lilies are very overgrown and I’ve been in the pond and can’t find any pot they are sitting in. I know you’ve advised doing this in spring, but I have newts and toads that visit our pond. I’m worried about disturbing their reproduction. Could I get away with repotting the lilies now? And advice would be appreciated.
