idk how many people have been watching the mcu from when thor first was released but i thought this film was great. thor has totally come a huge way from his first film and i really love that character development - it makes him a really interesting to watch. i definitely think that the plot for the second thor film was not great and really didn't improve the overall story of the mcu or thor and jane's relationship, tho there were some good cinematography moments. it's a little shame that jane couldn't have appeared in more stuff earlier on but i'm surprised (in a good way) that marvel actually made the effort to bring natalie portman back in and continue this storyline that in way could have been left after thor ragnarok. she was definitely a strong point for me in the first film and along with loki, was a character that i clearly remember being in that first film. lastly, taika waititi has really changed the colour palette for thor, from the first two being beige and dull, to a fun, vibrant movie and he's done a great job w that.

I hope Jane will be resurrected someday and be given a chance to finally settle with Thor and Love, maybe even create their own little thunder.

Why they have to end her like that, natalie is perfect jane foster. Am heart broken
This may be an unpopular opinion but I always felt we didn;t need the montage in Thor 4 . It was very obvious why they broke up from watching Thor 1 and 2. Thor was just an awful boyfriend, always leaving her to save the world and she was always worry about him dying which don't make for a healthy relationship. Yet you can feel how much they love each other despite how bad their relationship is. This is why I didn;t like the montage. I think having a scene of just Thor talking about how much he love Jane and all the pain he cause her which made her dump him would be enough. Not some silly scene of them fighting over her job and his job which make their love story feel so cheap rom com and not something deeper and darker which it always was. For a MCU fantasy type movie I wish they stuck to the original concept. Then when he finally lose her, he finally realize how she felt all those years thinking he may die at any minute and he was such an awful boyfriend. THis is the love story plot we got in THor 4 not just them meeting again from some bad break up due to work. Then her hiding stuff from him and dying. Like we never got to see scene of him reflecting on his relationship, her reflecting on the relationship, and them just really bonding from pass time. It was bam she got cancer and gonna die and now Thor don;t want it. It just seem more shallow IMO.
Sorry Thor, she married a Skywalker first.
I remember seeing the first Thor in the theatres. I can't forget the first time I saw Tom Hiddleston as Loki. 🤩
