With one tank, you can shoot 25 cases of paintballs, at 50 bucks a case, you will shoot 1,250 bucks of paint, before buying another tank. It costs 2 bucks for the tank. WHY ARE WE NOT FUNDING THIS?!
He mike I am thinking about buying one off of E6ay.. I am not planning on playing truth "paintball" until I get a car because the field is to far away, even tho I owned many paintball guns, expensive ones to, I never got to shoot them becase I didn't have air. I am just planning on just shooting around the house and bringing it to friends. Should I get the tippmann C3?
the C3 gets hot after one hopper. after 1and a half my friend couldnt touch the metal. the issue of cooling is a big one and i dont know if it could overcome. i would love to be wrong and have the opportunity to use an ultra-efficient semi, but i doubt it will happen anytime soon.
good review, just im kinda worried about the propane tanks... i mean the factory that makes them, doesnt consider that u might smack the tank whilst diving in the snake
Thanks for the review, I plan to get a pair of these for casual backyard use. Stock some paint and there isn't really anything else to worry about. Anyone I know that has paintball gear has co2 markers in their closet and never have anything in their tank. I think all the dummies who are afraid it is going to burst into flames killed the idea.
not really. think about it, how small that tank is. gas grills go through much much more gas alot quicker than this. this is such a small amount it takes 50,000 shots to get through a tiny $2 tank.
actually, the opposite. the propane being pulled out of the tank could cause the tank to get extremely cold. if you ever have touched one of these tanks while being used somewhere else (lamp, stove, etc.) you will know what i'm talking about.
He mentions being out somewhere like Nepal or wherever, but... Problem is, you can't get propane everywhere in the world. Out in a lot of third-world countries, you can get a propane refill. That's why some hiking equipment sellers offer camp stoves that run on kerosene. You can usually find kerosene, but not always propane. Why you'd be paintballing in Mongolia or Kazakhstan, I don't know. But thought I'd mention it.
This is insane 50,000 shots a tank! Why is this the only propane powered marker if one tank will last you a five years? Also they should have 12 gram propane cartriges but you'd only get probably like 6,000 shots! LOL Why are we still using co2 and air when theres propane. I mean seriously it just doesn't add up!??!
Hank Hill would love this gun
I always wanted one of these back in the day
this gun does ignite the propane, thats why its so efficiant.

2024 $2 tank is $6. Still a great deal, every company should make these.
*In Hank Hill's voice* "...And this is my personal favorite propane accessory, the best paintball gun on the market, the Tippmann C3."

Damn he said the tank costs $2. What a time that was

@ItzzNexion Can't do it. The combustion occurs inside the gun and it expels air, not propane.
for the tank. If 1 litre of propane costs nearly 40$ in Canada how much would filling the tank cost.
is the c3 the only propane marker
I would buy one, super sweet, to bad they stopped making them. Very inexpensive to shoot for sure.
should i get a proto SLG 2009 or a 2007 PMR???
@MrIronMaiden23 get the smart parts ion used from amazon its amazing for the price
does this also run on hpa?
Thanks for the review, I plan to get a pair of these for casual backyard use. Stock some paint and there isn't really anything else to worry about.

He also sells them along with their accessories

were can i get 1?
About what diaphragm you talk ? The flame go outside the barrel.
thanks sherlock...
@sniperbait171 did you really like in all seriousness actually see how many you could get? i'm curious if that rumor is true
Are those tanks really only 2 dollars?? or is that just for a refill.. if not how much do those tanks cost?
Not An explosion inside? that is exactly how it works.
i wonder if he sells these
actually, the opposite. the propane being pulled out of the tank could cause the tank to get extremely cold. if you ever have touched one of these tanks while being used somewhere else (lamp, stove, etc.) you will know what i'm talking about.
thinkin about replacing my SL 68 II with one of these....
last?

@apstephens97 Nitrogen is HPA
mike I just bought an old school early 80's nelson valve t.a.s.o spartan pump gun for 25 dollars
Hey Mike see if you could do a viewloader genesis surge
3 propellents? what about nitrogen?
it sounds good but can it shoot marbels;)? this is a real question bcuz if it can i dont need to buy paintballs so that i can shoot birds with it
In the episode of King of the Hill where Bobby and Joseph play pump paintball they should've gotten these cause Hank would go crazy
@snigloid yes
yay! now i can go HA! at dad cause he didnt think it was safe to play with propane on it but now ik its MADE for it..sweet..
@HavocMan22 theres one stuck in the ground at the chrono range at my field. I'm trying to convince the owner to give it to me...
aww so if you put a lighter or something will it be a flame thrower
??? what if i smoke??? i like smoking while playing will i go boom??
Now I want it...
Actually there's four propellants for paintball
1. HPA
2. CO2
3. Propane
4. Spring (Splatmaster)
hey he still hasnt done the video of hm using the pirahna gti at a tournament!
do a review on the ego 10 please!!!!!!!!!!!!
@MrIronMaiden23 if your knew to the sport then go with a tippmann 98 custom or go on craigslist and look up paintball and look for one you'll like
Yes, so far.
who else is watching king of the hill while watching this video?!
Propane is practically free where I live
like hell it is.. you can get 3 x 8oz bottles for under $5 over here
55,958 strokes
dang i would have bought it for the flame thrower capabilities
So basically hold a lighter next to the vents
hey im new to paintball would any of you guys recommeded a marker for me
i saw a kingman spyder mr1 but not sure about it....
by me there is nowhere within 50 mi. to fill hpa only co2 :(
@sniperbait171 holy shit this would solve the problem of air and co2 costs if they could make guns more insulated this is amazing!
I am a assintant manager at Strickland Propane, and I sell propane and propane accessories.
i only got 47,673 shots off the tan:(
its a win win
First
@apstephens97 hpa/compressed air/nitrogen all the same thing
i know
He said its 2 dollars for that tank at wallmart
so far i haven't heard anything bad about it
lol. like a true hank hill
man that is about about 1.5 oz's more then my trilogy tactical autococker
no flamethrowing?! thats lame, it would have been sweet for night games
Lucky you, if I could get propane for cheap I would. And i mean fills and all.
does anyone have some of these? i would like to buy 2-4
@EvilFingers You can't even upgrade the barrel
i think it is blue rhino
@ 2:49 to 2:51, That's what she said.

@MATANUI720 no
CAN.......I............HAZ?!
well ill tell you hwaut!
@killedE1mo CO2 is also bad for the environment. Lot more CO2 guns than propane guns.
Hank Hill would think that is a mans gun :)
thats a pump marker
@Dantinus
LOL first thing that came to my head hahahha
@johnnybumbum dude it's fucking propane!
that's false. a semi-auto propane marker would be near impossible to make.
My name is Hank Hill and I sell propane and propane accessories.
Sorry, I had to do this.
I'll tell you wHat.
