Agreed. He’s come a long way, too. I first saw him on a Tavin Dillard video doing his Trale Louwose(sp) bit and his characters were good then, but his production value is 10x better. I don’t know how he hasn’t at least gotten a show on Adult Swim over the years. His zany antics have always been perfect for it. And while his stuff is niche, you’d think it would have blown up more. I’d put it in the same category as like Tim and Eric Awesome Show etc., Eric Andre’s stuff, maybe even MDE, but I think Nathan is far better at it. Most of those are just weird for weird’s sake, especially Tim and Eric… Nathan’s stuff is way more artistic and satirical.

I have to get back into covering Dad and spreading the love! This inspired me not only to make an analysis video, but an explanation video with old pieces of lore explained, recover two old theories that I had that were basically just confirmed (Gods In the Machines and the Shed Is Dead), go back and do an Act by Act exploration (possibly), do a ton of shorts to help share Dad and possibly an interview, if any of the Dadbots are interested...

this has truly come so far from the video of a creepy dude in the background of one of nathan's videos. i admit i stopped watching for a while because of struggles in my personal life, but watching the origins of this project and chatting with nathan about scriptwriting during drunken mukbang streams was a truly inspirational time for me. youve done some fantastic work here, nathan. i cant express my admiration. i wish i could afford to send you some money in a donation, but ill get you back for what this project has done for me someday.
Wow! Man... I have never been so invested in a channel or series before. This has been absolutely amazing. You've made me laugh, cry, and think about the universe in ways I haven't before. Thank you for everything you've shared with us, Dad. I will forever be a fan. Nothing but love for you! Looking forward to seeing who Man is and what he has in-store.
I still remember watching Dad Is On when it came out because UA-cam recommended it, and being so utterly confused that I ended up learning everything I could about the channel and eventually following it. If this is the end, it's been a good ride. 🙂

Nathan, congratulations on your epic journey! Rarely do folks get to pursue something to an end without compromise, and you should feel very positive about that. I love that you lead by example, and that you lead your life the way you want to, not the way society wants you to. I speak to my friends about you all the time, and I find myself describing you as the weed sprouting up though the crack in the concrete, resilient to everything thrown at you. It's remarkable that you are able to financially sustain yourself through a creative means such as Dad, and speaks volumes on how well you succeed at your true passions. We all love you so much, and all of us hold you, Nathan, so close to our hearts. You show us what is possible, and you show so many young people that they don't have to fit the mold society gives them, and shows them that it is entirely possible to live any way they want to. Wishing you all the best things in life my friend.
Matter cannot be destroyed, but it can be made into a new form. Therefore, in the truest sense, Dad will always be with us, no matter what form he takes.

wow. i've done it. ive watched every dad video. watching this series evolve has been incredible, from simple cheryl and daughter and marvin to what it is now. im gonna be honest i'm really confused and it would be nice if someone could explain all of this to me.
I already said it but the lore was what drew me in, and it was starting to branch out in a lot of different directions and take a back seat to Nathan’s other pursuits so I think we came to an organic finish. I am so glad you took us on this journey, I’m glad I stumbled upon Night Mind’s first video all that time ago. It’s been a joy watching this channel grow and be part of the community. I will never forget the drunken Christmas Eve where I left what felt like a thousand comments on that season’s finale (and I REALLY gotta go back and watch it because I missed some good stuff). You are a brilliant artist in all the different forms and I wish you all the success in the world.
Doubt you'll see this but I gotta say I started watching early into act 3. The dad channel actually inspired me to finally go through with my own ARG. I absolutely love this channel and am excited to see what man has to offer. Thank you for the inspiration and please remain awesome

Amazing. I'm not going to pretend I got it all, but I am thoroughly entertained and impressed. The quality of this series got better and better. The story and design (visual and sound) are magnificent. The entire thing was so uncanny valley and yet I couldn't look away. Masterful work that is criminally underrated.
