I Played 12 COMPLETELY RANDOMIZED Games of Pokemon AT THE SAME TIME
Вставка

- I attempted to beat 12 games of Pokemon Emerald at the exact same time. And this time, each game is from a different randomized seed, so no two games are alike! By pairing controls to each game, I had to navigate 12 separate characters that didn't always want to cooperate. How long will this take me? Watch the video to find out!
This is not a Nuzlocke, as you will see through my many failed battles. My only goal was to beat all 12 games as fast as possible.
I randomized: starters, wild Pokemon, trainer Pokemon, movesets, abilities, and items. Everything else is vanilla Emerald.

Pelliper going from the weak link to 3rd to finish the league is such an emotional redemption story
I want this to be a speedrun category so bad
Then make it one
be the change you wanna see in the world, my guy, lol
7
@@colevallelungo3155 oh I would hate to play it though
Multi%
Categories could be like:
2, 4, 8 and 12 screens. Timer stops when all games have hit standard end-point of solo games.
have you considered doing this with half in ruby and half in sapphire? it might be a fun challenge.
the games are basically the same it would just be his first video slightly diferent
Or 1/3 ruby 1/3 sapphire and 1/3 emeralds or you could do the half ruby half sapphire and have the thirteenth be emerald
@@Kotiri That actually would be painful: The Magma Hideout is a **unique** location in Emerald (the Ruby one is not in the same spot, nor does it have the same layout)
Go crazy:
2 Ruby
2 Sapphire
2 Emerald
2 Fire Red
2 Leaf Green
1 Omega Ruby
1 Alpha Sapphire
And the secret game...
Eh, Yellow I guess.
How about going crazier?
Every single generation at the same time :^)
Add in a Mystery Dungeon or something for the lulz
The 7 Ryans and the 4 Szbos really came out to play today. But we can't forget the plucky Szan for coming too!
I’m confused at how they ended up different if they all started at the same time…
@@hadla Because the system struggles with running all these games at the same time, there's a slight lag/delay, which is enough that the letters become slightly off :)
@@hadlalate to the party, but in addition to what the commenter below said, this will also happen on standalone systems as well. I have a controller rigged up to control 3 of my 3DS consoles at the same time while playing the virtual console Pokémon games, and even then the inputs still get a bit botched and won’t perfectly sync up, even when on “native hardware.”
Let me know where you think the 13th game will end up in the comments below! Or take a guess at what Pokemon it selects as the starter!
Route 102 also a map randomizer would be cool if u read this
Petalburg?
This is truly a Multiverse of Madness
My guess is that it wouldn't have even selected it's starter yet (or if it has it hasn't beaten May yet)
Level 12 starter in the first city.
Going to watch this 12 times to focus on a different game each time
Have you ever thought about upping the amount of secret/hidden games? It might be interesting to see even three or so you can't see and how that'd go. Since sometimes you do seem to get interesting outcomes like here with the catching a new wild pokemon and putting your starter in the box.
A entrance randomizer for the hidden games would be cool too
Hey Ryan, your evil alternate persona Szbo here. Just got done playing one game of vanilla Pokemon with no restrictions within a reasonable time frame. I'm gonna go outside now and lay in the grass.
I'm expecting the 13th game gets an early white-out before entering a pokecenter and is stuck in Little-root for the rest of the game. It's not too unlikely to go back to the start, and once there it's nearly impossible for basically random inputs to escape.
I had guessed that the 13th game wouldn't get past Oldale Town, and I was apparently correct. Very interesting that it managed to catch a level 2 Bellsprout and then deposit the level 15 Hoothoot starter. Would've been even sillier if the starter had been released (Twitch Plays Pokémon style), and then you would've had no idea what it was.
I don’t understand how you are not a bigger channel with more views. Your stuff is fantastic.
Because he doesn't tell us to subscribe or like, therefor we are unable to!
@@Nathan_Moor not really but we less likely to
Wait you're right, I hadn't even noticed their channel isn't that big. I'm gonna share this with my friends.
Right? It's definitely underrated
I hadn’t noticed I didn’t subscribe until I read this
I just love how this series keeps getting crazier and crazier.
This was very enjoyable to watch. Great stuff, well done!
Also I would have never predicted this outcome for the 13th game xD
Also also: I would have loved to see you fight Steven with all the 12 games. Maybe in a short post episode?
In the middle of covid lockdown, I played red, blue, yellow and green at the same time (regular non-randomized), then gold, silver and crystal. After those I started ruby, sapphire and emerald, but quit after the third badge or so. My brain just had had enough 😂. My respects, man
Great job Szbo. And my guess is that your 13th game will get maybe 1 badge or get stuck against a random ledge in the woods.
Imagine a video where you take all the secret games and then play them all at the same time continuing where they all left off. That'd be interesting.
This is so impressive. Loving the content so much. The perfect level of nerdy / informative and my gosh you are so funny. Definitely the highlight to my day.
Thank you so much!!!
Pure chaos. I loved it! Emerald version is so nostalgic for me.
You actually did have some guaranteed evolutions for Eevee. Espeon and Umbreon are friendship evos, so you wouldn't have needed stones
I really want to see this done with all doors being randomized too. But that may actually be too chaotic
I loved the first one of these you did, then I've gotta be honest, they got a bit stale, but this was brilliant. What an absolute slog you had! Loved looking at the random Pokemon, like where did middle left get that Rayquaza from and then the one to the right of that goes up a waterfall and you use a Lombre and as it appears on screen the box just says AAAAAAAAA
I'd like to know how you managed to get multiple consoles/emulators hooked up to one input device. I can barely get two games to run at once, let alone make them see the same inputs at the same time. Please enlighten us as to how to recreate this wonderful madness. I love this style of chaotic video.
This guy completed 12 randomized games at the same time in 33 hours when I need 33 hours to complete 1.
This idea is really unique and cool, so I keep coming back. The presentation/editing is good, and the 13th game is a great hook. But man I wish the actual gameplay and commentary was more tolerable. These videos are best watched in 1.5x or 1.75x speed
This gotta be one of my favorite series, always look forward to a new one
Imagine trying to nuzlocke this godforsaken challenge
the mad lad actually did it. absolutely incredible.
A level 70 Dunsparce with Truant is absolutely hilarious!
Really cool challenge, Id love to see someone try to nuzlocke this. Would be nice to see a reliable way to desync that doesn't rely on spamming a queue of inputs to the games.
This was so beautiful. I really hope you do more of these with other gens!
I think Ryan and Szbo did pretty well, but I was rooting for Szan the entire time.
This deserves more views I love Pokémon challenges as intricate and interesting as ones like these!
Content idea: You premake the teams and speedrun this, but with extra rules like only one attempt per trainer or reset, different pokemon in each game, and a semi loose level cap. but yeah, I love this type of content. Imagine a run where all 12 games beat the elite four on their first try from the same inputs but with different pokemon.
I explained this video to my dad, and his response was: “Is he on meth?”
I love these challenges so much! It’s the highlight of my day to see you’ve uploaded one of these! ❤
If the first challenge was any indication, the 13th game won't even make it past the first rival battle. Of course, that's assuming that it's a fresh save file with its own seed. If it's something like the Lv 100 Mewtwos beating the Emerald E4 in the 4 different games simultaneously challenge, then maybe they could accomplish something.
This is how I wanted to see twelve games be played. Completely random.
My prediction is the secret 13th game is stuck in Oldale town
13th game idea was genius! Great content
I figured out what was bothering me while watching your videos - your cadence sounds just like the "How the Plumbus is made" guy. Now I'm imagining hearing all this if you had no idea what anything in Pokemon was.
Plot twist, every video he ever put out doing the “12 games at once” he was really mass playing all the Pokémon games, to farm tons of videos, and eventually put out a, “I played 1200 Pokémon games at once”.
i love these videos- they’re so interesting every time
this is great. now the next step is to play different games AND randomize the games
now.. do 12 different games at the same time :)
great video as always btw ^^
I kept getting deja vu while watching this video, and it turns out I watched a very similar video from this channel 3 months ago. Neat.
Jesus people are milking the absolute last drop out of this clickbait format
You should do a regular version of this in gen 2 🎉
Entertaining video as usual, keep up the great work! :D
Fantastic video yet again! Always fun to watch. I need to know what computer you are running this on. Despite being minimally graphics-heavy, this is a lot to run at one time while also recording
You should put randomized in the title - I love your stuff so clicked anyway but if I wasn't so familiar I'd have been much more hyped seeing 'randomized' in the title - makes it sound (and is) much more impressive
Prediction: 13th game gets stuck on Route 101 again.
Finale: Stuck in Oldale is close, but props to game 13 for catching a second Pokemon and somehow managing to throw their starter in the box.
I'm always happy to see one of these uploaded. They're really fun to watch.
I've been waiting for someone to do this. Only thing that would change is having a non randomized version as a base line for comparison
a fun reference to a video that relates to this:
fast pidgey
most underrated channel by far, also do gen 4 of pokemon next if possible to do this with a ds
You should post each of the runs separately… I’d watch them all.
A lot of idle time walking in circles XD
Or an edit where its just one screen until something that separates it happens.
All screens merge when in the exact same spot at the exact same time (such as when walking between towns) but when one of the games encounter a pokemon or trainer battle it diverges and shows those diverging games. Trainer battles such as against May should probably be separate no matter what unless you wanna be really specific and only diverge when there are different pokemon.
It'd be like seeing a multiverse in action.
great idea! I think you should play 1 game and not see the other 12 and see which one of the 12 get the furthest!
Wow, cool idea! I think it would be really interesting if you tried it again without maintaining sync, so for example you are playing in 12 games at once but you can only ever see one of them on screen at a time. In that way you have to quickly work out on each screen 'OK, what is the most useful thing I can do here for the next 10 mins?' before moving to another game's screen. Also doing the same thing but with randomised loading zones (maybe just 6 at once... idk...)
How did steelix end up being named jimba
It would be insanely too difficult to nuzlocke this challenge, right? Even if it wasn't randomized?
If it weren’t randomized it would be basically like playing 12 versions of the same game, so it would probably be easier
That 13th game is basically me when I'm blackout drunk and mess around with stuff in my room too much.
To the secret 13th game that's not even getting any attention to know what it's doing, the best I'll say is "good luck getting to Petalburg City" 👍
Hoothoot in the PC is so funny, anyway nice, I never get bored of these videos!
Bro keeps calling Slaking "slay king 💅🤴"
I didn't know this would be a randomizer when I clicked on the video, but I am not disappointed.
It says randomized
@@minaashido518 It did not when I watched it. The title was changed.
Have you tried Nuzlockeing 12 games at once? You need at least one game to reach the end.
Unlucky that he got a dunsparce in gen 3
Gen 9 he could’ve evolved and made it not suck (other than truant)
Part of me would love if the 13th game had a legendary like Rayquaza, and it made it through the end of the game super easy. But it's probably going to be a Feebas or Magikarp, and it won't even make it past the first route.
Let's go with a randomized Regi, so you still get a legendary, but you can literally only explode and die in each battle.
Edit: Level 2 Bellsprout and a Hoothoot in the box? Dang, never would have guessed that.
I kind of love you I think. This is all madness and I'm living for it
Boy, he’s done it again! We thought he couldn’t do better, and he blew that right out our brains.
the 13th game is always the funniest part of these videos
I was looking forward to this.
At the beginning of the video I suspected that It wouldn't go far based off of Pi Plays Pokemon.

It got so much further than I expected. It must have beaten May to catch a pokemon, (unless the free potion was a pokebal
Pelipper doesn't follow the pack into the elite four. He blazes his own trail with his flame body.
16:14 huge power only raises attack not special attack great video tho
Weird to see my name on a raichu
Which brings us to a future title: “I attempted to beat 12 Randomized games in a nuzlocke (impossible?)”
The npcs in the 13th game must've been so confused watching him run around
I just had a stupid idea. Do a run like this, but you can only see one of the games at a time. It switches between games randomly every 20-30 minutes.
guess what he just uploaded...
I have a better idea, but it’s the reverse. Play one game for real, while 10 hidden games mimic the same movements, and see if they end up at the E4
Interesting... For the Rayquaza fight, the background is the same for all fights, except the top right fight, which has its own background (I won't say what Pokémon is in that game, because spoilers), but I wonder if it's related to how we normally catch it?
Also... He called the bottom right Pokémon in that fight a pseudo legendary, but... It's not 😂
If Pokemon had a collab with Dungeons and Dragons with 12 people and the DM is the 13th.
Bro, ur effort and edit skills are awesome, i Hope u Get more recognition
man you are insane, im just at the start but already liked and subscribed, thank you for being so crazy
Here's an idea
Play 1 game (pick your poison) while every Pokemon game 1-5 is in the background
Imagine twitch plays pokemon but it's 12 games
omg please no
We had two games at once on TPP sometimes, and that was already plenty chaotic! It was hell trying to get through Victory Road with both games synced up despite the random battles.
Why was Mew's battle background green instead of brown like the rest?
Utterly premium content. Thank you!
This strategy is called "Pressing the buttons on the controller to make my character move across the screen"
Guessing before watching, I think the extra game will make it to route 102! (between odale and petalburg, thats probably the right number)
Congratulations on the run Szbo!
Insane! Great video! 👏
Great idea for a video, and I like that you pronounced it Slay-king. Very appropriate for one without Truant.
I did something similar one time, playing red blue and yellow all at the same time sharing inputs, that wasn't too bad, nowhere near as insane as your run you went through for this video.
I predict 1 badge
Truant Dunsparce is truly a sight to behold
13th Game Prediction:
You will be fighting a trainer in the Foretree City gym
Slaking isnt a pseudo legendary.
Idea 12 games with 3 different generations fully randomized
32:08 God Tristian is about to use OCTILLERY.
