I can’t really feel bad for a guy who has brought all of this negative attention onto himself. What’s worse is he practically did this to Neil Magny with the whole child abuse thing. Strickland is just being real and saying shite that needs to be said, he is looking out for him which is very sweet.
I used to think Strickland was just a dumb meathead but it turns out he's actually intelligent and seems like a good guy.
Chael is such a great talker/speecher. Impeccable timing and delay to make thing more dramatic n stuff. I always watch it on 2x cus he rattels so slow 🤠
More context; Sean basically said it's wild that Ian is 26 and his wife is 40 and coincidentally she wrote a book called "how to be a wag" (WAG being an acronym for Wives And Girlfriends of professional athletes). He also made the observation that his wife is only with him for the money and fame, which seems obvious considering she literally wrote a book about it. Sean also said that her ex husband is living with them.
Ian's wife responded saying she is old but she really cares about Ian and that her book was supposedly satirical and proceeded to insult Americans for our lack of sense of humor. Then immediately after, in a weird way sorta bragged about how much time she's spent around professional athletes. She also said that her ex husband (whom she has a kid with that Ian is raising) doesn't live with them.
Then at some point, Ian threatened to sue Sean for harassing his wife, but he forgot this is America and Sean stating facts isn't a crime. Sean called him a cuck with no balls and said he would have respected Ian more if he threatened him with violence instead of being a coward.

The funniest part about the name is that “Layla machado” did not even go by that name ever as an adult. “Layla Anne-Lee” but the whole adaptation of the machado was to use the name for clout or some lineage to the legendary machado name of bjj and early mma.
I noticed that too,and as a brazilian that's too weird,it makes no impact because Machado is a very common surname it's not like having Gracie surname,that everyone recognizes as the bjj family...so even if her brazilian side of the family has that surname it doesn't mean she's related to the bjj's Machado,but she's probably hoping non-brazilian mma fans automatically assume she's related to the 'famous' Machados
